- James Bond Producer Harry Saltzman was Canadian (born in Sherbrooke, Quebec) and a few Canadian references cropped up in the James Bond movies over the years. Here is every time CANADA is referenced in the spy series.

Lois Maxwell was one huge Canadian reference 😉
Every mention of the mythical land of Canada, I love it.
Cool concept! Now i want other nationalities ahaha
Upload Regular Every James Bond Videos Bro...
Not so many mentions or even scenes for that matter for the 2nd largest country in the world.
Chinese CANADIAN here. And I’ve been a huge Classic James Bond fan since I was a pre teens (mid thirties now). And this is great
Thanks! I am also, as you probably guessed, Canadian. Huge Bond fan too.
🇨🇦 Great observation !!!
How come this country has only been mentioned in the movies and been set in some of the Fleming Novels but not set in the movies, I know they had plans for Timothy Dalton's planned 3rd Bond film, but still I'm pretty surprised
Good question!
@@EVERYJAMESBOND I heard you are from Canada too, did you do this whole video to support your country?
That was good : )
I’m in Canada and it feels great
1:02 Hey, that's Beckett!
Many times rewatched Quantum but keep forgetting that Stana was in it.
🇨🇦
We need to have a Canadian Villan! Dr. Eh!
Harry Saltzman was Canadian
Dr. No is from Montreal and K.d Lang sings a Bond song.
Why was there a British flag @ 0:13?
That was the old Canadian flag, it contained the Union Jack in the corner.
@@timelord-2241 The flag in the video is not the Red Ensign, mainly because the 'Union Jack' element of it is too large.
If you look closely you can see extra red on the flag at the bottom, so it should be the old Red Ensign flag. That’s what I see anyway.
Actually, that WAS the Canadian flag in 1963! Up until 1965 it was red with a Union Jack in the left corner and a crest in middle right. You can see what it looked like here: www.canada.ca/en/canadian-heritage/services/flag-canada-history.html
@@timelord-2241 With all due respect, I don't see it. The Red Ensign has a complete Union Jack in the upper-left corner on a red background. The flag in the movie would have to be enormous for the Union Jack to be as large as it is.
Honestly, I suspect that the movie producers either didn't know any better or didn't care enough to get it right.
This is great stuff!!
Well done 👍
Thank you 👍
