I flew on ba’s 787 9 a few months ago from Boston to London and the IFE wasn’t working either that flight. BA seriously need to upgrade and refurbish most of their aircraft to newer and modern IFE as those screens are beyond outdated
I'd put a complaint in to BA about that IFE system. Bad enough with not just 1 of those boxes impeding your leg room but the system not even working. 🙄 That's what I did after the IFE started malfunctioning on a Qantas flight that I travelled on from Singapore to London Heathrow in 2009. They replied with a letter of apology and £80 high street vouchers. 😎

An important point - about the pretzels - they have a nice flavouring but it quickly dissolves/separates and then ur left to suffer with the unmitigated cardboard disaster that is a tasteless pretzel
Was it just your IFE not working, or everybody's? (I watched a review where all were broken). If just yours, seat beside you seems empty, why didn't you just jump in that seat
You should try not to worry too much about the broken IFE or the outdated cabin because the most important thing is that you didn't get to your destination late at all. 🙂
I would be furious if the IFE wasn't working. 10 hours of staring at the seat in front of you. If here was a decent passenger bill of rights, on a long haul like that it should be a quarter of the fare returned.
I only watched this cause I flew this same flight SFO-LHR earlier this year about 4 weeks before you did. These flight reviews are helpful and interesting when you're sitting in a premium class and can talk about the premium lounge and the on-board luxury amenities in business or first that most of us don't get to experience. Sitting in economy and basically just pointing your camera out the windows for 20 of the 25 minutes with little to no narrative is as boring and pointless as it gets. What a waste of time. And by the way, if you've ever flown long haul overnight from the U.S. to Europe or Asia, you would know they always serve a hot breakfast as a second meal about 90 minutes before landing.

You should try their A350-1000s. They are much newer and their IFE isn't as dated as the A380s or some 777s or Some 787s. Try their A350-1000s

How was the flight. Did you check in a bag. How much did it cost. How would you rate the meals from one to ten.
Paid around $460 with the routing PHX-SFO-LIS, MAD-ORD-PHX. I didn’t check a bag. I would rate the meal a 7 out of 10
