Mob Psycho 100 is made with so much love by studio Bones and it shows so much from the songs, animations, and story 💖 really recommend to watch for a good time and a wild ride. plus it kinda just casually changed my life and perspective because of how well done it is lmao

A great reaction again! The blonde guy (older) and the black-haired guy (younger) are two separate people btw, and in the end of the third opening the older guy basically watches over the younger one as he grow up :)

It makes me so sad that they won't release any more songs since the series is over. These songs are fantastic.
I totally agree on the fact that all artists are connected in some way even if we dont do the same type of art, as a digital artist who mainly draws characters i get a LOT of my inspiration from my favorite instrumental songs and the feeling they give me.

The visuals are certainly not random and serve as a condensation of nearly everything that happens during the show, but in a heavily symbolized way that don't allow you to understand unless you actually saw the show. Also the count is to 100% which is the same thing as 1.
If you've been blown away by the intro, then you must give the whole show a watch: visually you'll be even more blown away, musically it's incredible, story wise it's deceptively deep and the best part is how those aspect play into each other to be so much more than the mere sum of the three into what might be the anime with the best production value of all time and this consistently over 3 season and eight years mind you.
Probably a little late to the party, but I went down a rabbit hole of Mob Psycho 100 op reactions today, and it wasn't until you started talking about themes and what the intention was that I really started to think about that. I've watched the entire series several times, but I won't spoil it, I will however say that the concept and intention behind the intros seems to be "your mind is blown."
When you said his older self (at the blonde guy) I laughed, cuz I just imagined Mob dying his hair orange-😂
“Listening to the visuals” is incredibly sane compared to these openings

Mob Psycho is a Manga and Web novel created by the One punch man mangaka One. The anime adaptation is done by Studio bones who have done a bunch of original stuff as well as adaptations. They've done plenty of big Shounen shows like Soul Eater, FMA and the FMA brotherhood (Remake) and are currently doing all seasons of My Hero Academia (MHA). They also have some Seinen (18+ stuff adult themed shows aka drugs, extreme violence etc) like Darker than black and Bungo Stray dogs (

This anime is a masterpiece and those 3 openings are literally fire🔥
Btw when you have time, take a look at the live performance of Roselia - Fire Bird, the girls band from Bandori (the franchise i told you about a week ago), they are so good
Oh yeah, the bass (and singer) on the second opening is Tatsuya Kitani, a well know singer and bassist. I recommend you to listen to "when the weak go marching in", "scar" and "rapport", 3 of the best song he has done!

I can't believe u didn't hear op3 until the end in ur channel, the "tick tick" sound is the most interesting part that is interconnected with op1's beginning, but u skipped it! Really feel pity about this!

The first two song titles are a reference to Mob's abilities in the show. He loses control at 100% so the openings are the buildup to that. The third's title is probably a reference to the mangaka who goes by "one."
Wow, really interesting choices and artistic ways to co relate music and story plot!
Him going back to 1% after losing control/not letting it get to him is what is implied here most likely, as a way that even if he does lose it, he always starts again from 1 - from himself, compared to what he becomes at 100%, which is heavily reflected in this season too.
There was another song made by the band that was supposed to be the third opening you should give it a try if you enjoyed their work
It doesn’t have an mv but it was used in the show as an ending to one episode its called “exist”

The "random" sh1t happening in the openings are actually things with relevance in the series. It's not showing at random, everything has it's meaning
