In this video I share my thoughts on Stellantis' entire ev strategy and how giving up the Dodge Challengers and Chargers with the V8's was a horrible idea.

If trees thrive in a co2 rich environment, then it only makes sense that people with muscle cars are "tree huggers"😂
Totally! Lol let the greenhouse gases flow free!
Meanwhile, EVs will spontaneously combust and burn the whole forest down.
Tottally agree.
Another fact people forget about EVs is that would take 10,000 (or more) years to mine all the rare earth materials that would be required to make these proposed global green initiative targets. It’s absurd. It’s like one would have to actually assume both worst cases: 1) they’re all finacial rackets, and/or 2) forced global depopulation is also part of the initiative.
A gas car could never do the kind of damage to the environment that ev's do. Look up what lithium mining looks like
Agree! Plus we are not even talking about the CHILD LABOR used to mine lithium!
And lithium is insanely toxic in any form. What a scam the elites are touting.
If you own a cell phone or laptop or ANYTHING with a lithium ion battery, you are part of the problem as well. Maybe get one of those gas powered phones 😂
But the lithium pools look so pretty, what do you mean I'll die a slow horrible death if I touch the water
Aaaaand the government and globalists don’t want the uninformed ignorant voter to know that. This is all a scheme to force us all into electric vehicles to manifest their control over the masses. Nothing to do with the environment (it never is) and everything to do with control and taxing!!!
Your challenger is green. That makes it good for the environment. At least that makes about as much sense as many of the other things we are being told are good for the environment.
When the Prius was first built it was determined, with all material in the batteries, start to finish they polluted more than the H1. EV's are very damaging to the environment and the stories of child labor to get the raw materials for the batteries are insane.
EVs are not to protect the environment. EVs are being built to control people by being able to shut down the grid and make a country do what you want them to do.
EVs are too expensive for the average person to buy and maintain. After governments removed the incentives from consumers, people stopped buying EVs. Germany's EV sales dropped 50% after they removed buyer tax breaks.
The first major car company to JUNK electric cars 100%, will rise to the top.
Toyota and Honda are already there.

Epic video at the fisker lot. It's just facts. Majority of people don't want these EVs
Cars with ICE engines aren't the problem. Stop cutting down all the trees and putting concrete everywhere!
I don’t care at all if a dealership goes out of business. Dealer markups, shady business practices, ripping people off, I literally don’t care if they all went away and we bought direct from the factory. The owners get filthy rich ripping off customers.
It makes no sense at all. I just started an economics class in college, and even in the first chapter you learn why this won't work. You learn about the differences between the market system (Spontaneous order) and Political forces (government).
Spontaneous order depends on people acting in their own self interest and making rational decisions, which means people decide what they want, and this in turn creates a good allocation of recourses (supply and demand).
Political forces (or a top-down system) happens when the decisions come from someone at the top making decisions and not taking into account the market. This creates an uneven supply and demand with them supplying product that the market doesn't want.
Forcing us into EVs when we literally are telling them we don't want them is not going to work. They will find out like these other failing EV companies that this method does not work. It is very important to listen to the market and your customer so you are actually providing a relevant product. If you aren't providing a relevant product, nobody is going to buy it and you won't be profitable.
SIMPLE
What is the hidden agenda with Carlos? No one is this stupid. What is the real end game?
Carlos is a democrat.
I liked that lil intro Brad showing off the skills
Fisker went out of business because of bad business practices and unfinished products. And Fiskers' first car, Karma, wasn't an EV it was a Hybrid. And you keep blaming Stallantis, but forgetting FCA did nothing with Dodge/Chysler except adding more horsepowed to an old Mercedes platform....
Plenty of old Chargers and Challengers out there to buy and restore if needed.
Ford will still make V8 Mustangs.
Instead of EV’s we need to go to alcohol. Renewable, can be made from grass, runs in ICE vehicles. Race cars have been using alcohol for decades. Non polluting, and could be sold at gas stations next to the diesel. It’s not perfect, but it’s a hell of a lot better than an EV and all the drawbacks they have.
The only electric car I'd consider purchasing is a Porsche Taycan. Anything else simply isn't worth it. Lucids are nice, don't get me wrong, but I'd fear them going the way of Fiskar and the warranty being worth less than toilet paper. If Stellantis was smart they'd buy Lucid and make them their EV brand while keeping their existing brands mostly true to their heritage.
Honestly, Brad, even if the government gave Chrysler literal trouble for these Hemi engines, I couldn't care less. These Hemis are too good. Especially the Hellcats. Stellantis is really digging their own grave 🪦 with their EV strategy at a time when NOBODY wants them. What annoying tree huggers say about EVs are false. They're not as eco-friendly as advertised. If someone gave me a choice between an EV and an inefficient V8, I would DEFINITELY go with the V8, even though the gas might make me go broke. Also, I love your Scat Pack's presence on the channel. Please don't get rid of it. 😉
Great info as always!!! Thx Brad!!
Love that you metaphorically took a piss on Fiskers grave….anyway…in ten years we will be driving new clean internal combustion engines that will provide insane Horsepower at triple the current fuel economy…..mark my words
Who says I didn’t take an “actual” piss on them when I turned the camera off? 😂
Plus Stellantis is having major quality issues with there new 2025 Dodge Charger EV cars coming off the assembly lines ,with major Electrical problems and trying to fix them !! But still having problems During assembly , With delays that is not good at all !!!!!!🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️👎👎👎
OCMotvator Friend keep up the great work 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💪💪💪👍👍👍
All these big corporations are at the mercy of their master Blackrock; which dictates to move away from muscle V8 and go green!
That Scat Swinger is such a sexy car!
That used to be a BMW dealership that moved to a new facility in Carlsbad. That was a Fisker dealership in Vista that was there for about 5 minutes.
When a company says "People don't want EVs" they mean "people don't want our EVs". Of course startup and development costs are going to hurt. The less time they have to do it, the more they're going to hurt. Ford is spending the money to build a profitable EV division. That's why they're "losing" money on EV sales. CDJR has done nothing since closing their EV division in 2009, and now they're in panic mode.
Sometimes I don’t agree with some of the things you say and sometimes I do at the end you are an awesome dude.💪🏾
Why are these money lenders not investing in manufacturing making computer chips, medical drugs, computers, tools, just anything that helps the USA become independent and not have to rely on our enemies for our safety.
Brad, you always entertain. Sold my Hellcat after 2 years, my Model 3 Performance is a keeper. So much false information always being spread about EVs, you do a pretty good job being on point, but your commenters cling to 15 year old "facts." Whatev, just glad we're both happy with our purchases.
They could have kept the Dart, and the 200. Both of those cars could have hybrid editions allowing Chrysler to sell the muscle cars.
Chrysler had a hybrid 200 ready to go on sale in 2010. They also had a Lotus based EV sportscar that looked whole lot like a Tesla Roadster or a cute little baby Viper. FCA shut down Chrysler's EV program after the merger in 2009.
Always spot on. Nice work.
F fisker, gets rich on tax payer money and then packs it in
I have a Challenger TA.. 5.7.. I am in Canada and now the true north dollar to horse power I am bailing on my Challenger. I will be buying a model 3 Performance due to dollar for horse power. Can’t beat a car that can achieve a 10.9 Quarter mile at 69k vs trying to buy a dodge at 120k for maybe to achieve that same number.. also not looking great for the numbers on the banshee and stage 2 kits.. Dodge let us down.. so sad now.
I was just at the cub foods by my house. There were a dozen teslas sitting there all on chargers. I was sitting in my Corvette laughing. Then I didn't have to charge my car and drove home. 👍
It’s even worse for Lucid. They fly people out to dealerships, pay for their Ubers and the list goes on.
I watch a lot of your videos, this by far was one of the best-well said.
You are absolutely 100% correct...FJB is happy but he is a fool and so are those who are watching their investments in EV's go down the drain.
Love that Swinger!!!
Enjoy your videos. Just bought a 24 Ram 2500 Laramie...hope Carlos doesn't destroy Ram!!
While I drive an EV, forcing people into EVs isnt the answer to fixing the earth. The real issue is the mass production of humans. That needs to be regulated.
Maybe if we glue ourselves to paintings with signs that say "JUST STOP ELECTRICITY" and see if that works lol.
Hey Carlos, in the immortal words of Joe Dirt: "It's not about what YOU like, it's the consumer."
OC lets be truthful. The McKinsey Study where the 46% comes from. Included about 4,000 respondents from the US. Only 1,840 people actually said they're likely to go back to gas cars next time. That's a relative drop in the bucket, considering that about 1.4 million new EVs were registered in the U.S. in 2023 alone and many of those owners could be very happy with their purchases.
Ford will really be raking in the bucks when law enforcement agencies adopt the 4-door Mustang. Maybe Ford will buy out Dodge just for sh**s and giggles.
Hopefully it’s a Falcon or it’ll create different kind of issues for Ford
I completely agree with you, OEMs have no business trying to build EVs. Their Engineers have no clue about designing anything related to EVs. Hybrids are the worst of both worlds, triple the moving parts that will break and have absolutely no power. ICE engines have reached their peak of possible performance and EVs are just getting started. EVs are Faster, More Efficient, Handle way better, last 3 to 4 times longer and dealers hate them because there is no maintenance and nothing ever breaks. Batteries now have million mile warranties and can go 252 miles for the cost of 1 gallon of gas (for me free because of solarport). Stelantis already went bankrupt in china..... it' s only time for the next dominoe.
All should know now that this isn’t a Stellantis decision as all corporations are being forced into this. The thinking is that it doesn’t matter what the hell we want because in the end …… we will not have a choice. We will probably be lucky if they even let us drive a car in the future. If you don’t have a damn option of what kinda car you can drive then what we want is pointless.
In the west of the US EVs don’t work. It’s too far between places .
"Carbon credits," is one of the most un-American things I have ever heard of.
Tesla has the EV market but these, other automotive companies, need to Offer other options for Customers !! Because not all people are getting to be into EV'S !! The biggest problem is the Gov should have never Mandated EV'S only that's the big problem !! The Market can be some EV'S, and more Gas and Hybrid vehicles, and still Internal combustion engines but more efficient , that way people can drive what they want to drive !! And not the Gov telling people what to drive !! And no more Mandates period !!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💪💪
Thanks for telling them. I'm so damn mad I can't!
You’re right, these are niche cars for a very small segment of the market - certainly not here in America. I’m in the market for a car, but that car is a Porsche. Much of the American automotive market is dead to me.
Another great video. Is the "wide body" rear flare on the driver side separating? Seems to be a gap on the front of it Brad. Warranty? LOL
Not only their EVs, Stellantis has ruined Jeep and dodge. Even local State Trooper and PD are switching to ford for V8 Gas interceptors. Also a big step to fix jeep...stop using junk aluminum panels that are not prepared properly! They just keep doing it over and over and expecting us to just buy more defective products.
It came out today that the 2025 Jeep Wrangler with the 3.6 L Pentastar V6 will be in a form of manual only. All the customers that want the 8-speed automatic will automatically will be forced to pay the $4500 increase for the turbo I-4 with the mild hybrid.
That thing is sublime! 🟩
Personally I think people do like the idea of EVs. The issue is that the US hasnt found a way to make quality EVs at an affordable price that is actually efficient. Efficiency includes batteries that aren’t the cost of the vehicle to replace and overall degradation. I think people like the idea of going green with a boost in tech but the US hasn’t figured it out which is why we need competition to move it forward. *cough “NIO” *cough *cough “ONVO”.. we are paying high prices for bad products on this side of the world
Thx so much for doing this one.... You just validated everything I've been saying for a few years now. Americans just don't want EV's, it's really that simple
They will not make money on the ICE vehicles, 1 because they really are getting away from ICE production and 2 because they killed the Hemi. Bottom line the Mopar Community wants V8's and more specifically Hemi V8's, but not at an inflated price point
if Dodge had just rolled out the new Charger with a V6 and a 40K price point. and 5.7 RT for about 50K and a Scat pack for around 55K they would have a winner. The 100K Charger EV is DOA before it's even built.
WOW....OCM has a dark side sense of humor...with a waterfall of reality....^..^
This is a great video, man. The EV nonsense that they are trying to push thru will not work. Really hope the grandson of Chrysler founder can buy back the companies and bring Chrysler Dodge Jeep and ram back to the United States.
Stellantis didn’t learn their lesson that’s customers don’t want no Dodge charger EV
Ford managed to figure out how to keep producing big V8 motors. Why can't Stellantis? Answer they didn't want to...
Ford sells more Mach-Es than they sell Mustangs, that's how.
@@hellomeatrobots per recent comments from Jim Farley and rumors of the Mach E getting axed in 2026 that might not even be true.
Stellantis is going to learn the hard way that EVs are not the way to go.
WHAT THE CUSTOMER WANTS is low-priced Hellcat, v8, v6 and 4 cylinder engines.
But you ain’t gonna get it.
In regards of Lu/cid company here in Saudi Arabia they even dropped the prices for base models, now you can own one with less 60K.
Even after dropping it no ones buying them.
For me, 2 months ago I bought a last call edition dodge charger WB scat pack, and prices even for 2023 is still holding up here. Got mine for 64K after tax. With granite color and went for the red interior. The only thing I'm frustrated about, is that the brembo caliper wasn't painted red came factory black.
Also, Mr, OCMotivator,
I went with your advice and removed the ugly pink protection plastic for front splitter. Then I applied 3M PPF for the whole car and did nano ceramic for interior and specially the wheels it did help me a lot to clean it after driving and get rid of brake dust smoothly.
Outstanding video!!
Sounds like Stellantis needs to go to an all Scatpack line up and drop everything else.
I said already said this... but i will say it again. No matter how much money you think you will save, it will be lost in depreciation.
Has the manufacturers figured out where they are going to dump these batteries 10 years from now! When these battery EV needs new batteries? Unbelievable!!!
It’s like if Tesla made an ICE engine, Tesla folks would be pissed.
So why would Dodge go EV knowing we love our big engines ?
You are 💯 correct on all points
Kuniskas is responsible as well. The new Charger should have been released years ago with a modernized V8.
Who want a EV? 😂 not me I stay with gas ⛽️
16000 is the real price that it cost to build a car
It ain't no way they're losing that much money on a vehicle. It only takes about 10 to 12 thousand dollars to build a BMW. If you believe that cost $225,000 to build a car and you're crazy for even believing in what they said.
After watching Tk’s video on the ev charger . These cars will riot in the lots just like the hornets are and they are over pricing them with mark ups
And the Rivian is a nice vehicle. Definately not something I would bring off road or even contemplate that. For looks, compared to the CyberPOS, I would opt for the Rivian, at least it looks like a truck and not an oversized dumpster. I also had the chance to check one out first hand. Very nice on the inside and roomy. Not something I would think about buying as I do go off road quit a bit.
We all know the problem here… not about killing the v8. You can still sells EV. It’s the model plan. Time to let dodge go my man
I guess I'm living under a rock, as I've never heard of that car before. But I'm OK with it, as I'm a car guy, not an appliance-on-wheels guy.
If there is no choice, hybrids and EV are fine.
There is no choice.
I was a Mopar guy since the 1970s but I am done with them. Their vehicles today are a disgrace to the old Mopar heritage. I would rather see NOCAR then this new MOPAR garbage. Stellantis...Close the doors and leave please.
Ready for some startup ICE/Hybrid/Plug In Hybrid brands to emerge and fight back against the idiocy that is the current automakers.
I have a 2014 srt challenger and I love it, my next car will be a hellcat, evs are crap
Fun Fact: Americans bought a record 330,463 electric vehicles in the second quarter of 2024, according to Kelley Blue Book. 11.3% increase vs second quarter of last year and 23% more than in the first quarter of 2024...but yeah, no one wants EVs
Go ahead and buy one then, or maybe 2. No one is stopping you, unlike Stellantis stopping customers from a future of V8 powered vehicles.
@@Jelsick They aren't stopping anyone from buying a V8. They're just telling you to buy it from someone else. Same as they told people looking for compact cars, normal size SUVs and minivans when they stopped making them and decided they'd cater exclusively to the brotherhood of muscle.
Shouldve been straight sixes all the way up to a V8, with an 800V EV Lucid competitor car offering. Even if only a 200 mile range. Maybe with carbon panels. It would be a very niche high end "muscle" car. OR
Make a bunch of low end affordable EVs to offset the ICE models that are all SixPacks and V8s.
We've already been through this. They dont care.
If it were not for the EPA and gov we would all be driving 1k+ HP big block muscle cars getting 25-30mpg and diesel half ton trucks with 1000lb/ft+ getting near 40mpg, 3/4-1 ton diesel trucks 2000lb/ft+ getting near 30mpg and 1.19 per gal diesel 1.50 per gallon unleaded
I used to want an EV but now I want V8 Durango!
i mean, not gonna be many folks heading to Dodge dealerships to pay 120k for an electric car. there's much cheaper, nicer EVs out there
Honestly I can’t wrap my head around it. They must see how much backlash they are getting for something that hasn’t even happened yet. Yet they are still going EV regardless. That being said I won’t feel bad watching this go down lol. @Dodge RIP
Why couldn’t Stellantis do a hybrid look at Lexus we owned a Lexus hybrid and it was great we need something bigger that is the reason we sold it.
I would submit that an internal combustion engine with multiport or direct injection with catalytic converters.Does no damage to the environment.I would suggest the “climate” hysteria is an excuse to plié on more control over us and a convenient “crisis” to solve with more of our tax dollars
Will NEVER even consider an EV!!!
Something you didn't bring up but is going to determine if these EVs are going to sell is reliability. You take a chance and buy one, then it breaks, and no one knows how to repair it. This could be a bigger disaster then your stating.
By the manufacture and the dealerships saying it’ll be profitable in 4th quarter of 2025 ALMOST sounds as if someone from the government has let it slip that electric vehicles will be mandatory very soon in the US. If that’s the case, we know which side wants to do that. Otherwise, it’s beyond preposterous to lose that much money on electric vehicles that nobody wants. They’re forcing the market that way.
Double check where your congressional members are putting their stocks and you’ll get your answer.
By the way, what ever happened to all the vehicles made during C19 that were waiting on computer chips that were in stadium parking lots and empty fields all over the place? It’s as though all of this is being done on purpose. 🤔
It’s the epa. Their antics are what’s doing it.
Great video 👍
Should of kept the Challenger but with slight changes to the car and lower prices. No EV and a new Hemi.
How is $400m going to save the company when that only employs 10 guys for 1 year?
Yea I don’t see why they at least didn’t try a hybrid sports car of some kind first before going all EV I just don’t think the battery science is there yet for a light weight long lasting battery of some sort
About the only thing valid in this video is that stellantis will not be successful selling EVs. The reason for this is poor design, not any deficit in EVs as a whole.
Stellantis is obviously going to stop paying its suppliers (done), break it’s obligations to the UAW (done), incite a strike (almost done), sell its remaining inventory during the strike, and then halt its NA operations so it can withdraw to Europe.
Stellantis’s philosophy has never aligned with dodge or ram, and this is a way to squeeze the orange one last time…
none will sell because of the insane prices
