#qna how do players physically and mentally recover from long term injuries?
This Should have more likes. The problem is..No one ever searches for this until it happens to them...Which is of course a lil too late. We'll talk about it for sure.
Verratti is a special player
He rarely ever loses the ball ✅
It’s difficult to get past him ✅
His balance is incredible ✅
I think he deserves more credit than he gets❤️❤️
Gavi exposed him
@@selestroyt One game, and Verratti has only recently come back from injury (again). Gavi was very impressive though.
A lot of it has to do with his position. He plays very deep and so doesn't get many goals/assists. It's a similar case with Jorginho. Pirlo played in the same position, but had arguably the best long range passing the game has ever seen, which led to many goals. He was also outstanding at set-pieces too. The average fan obsesses over goals and assists; this is why Verratti and Jorginho will get ridiculed for being announced as possible golden ball candidates. Fans will come out wth absolute crap saying these players don't do anything for the team, when in reality they are the heartbeat of the team in that they orchestrate the play.
Verratti would get more recognition if he played higher up the pitch as a number 10, like an Iniesta, Zidane, Riquelme etc. Verratt has all the necessary skills for the role - great dribbler, supremely composed, bags of flair, fine vision...
@@selestroyt this is just one game.
Gavi after the game Said that Verratti is his favorite player.
@@djangocarl4516 True
great video. One other attribute that helps Verratti and other pros is their level of composure. would love a video breaking composure and decision making on and off the ball.
Composure is just something you can only earn with experience. It took me a while to stay cool on the ball but it’s something mental that’s hard to train alone
We're on it bro. Thanks for the idea
@@Goluremi Thank you brother. such content would help a lot of us struggling with this from time to time.
When he said that Verrati knows where everyone is, he gave a great point about it.
Gavi spanked poor verratti
wow! i actually enjoyed this analysis of one of my fav midfielders. Pls mate keep this sort of content coming i'm loving it
What an insightful video! "Simplify" and "shield" are the two keywords that I had taken from this. Thanks so much, I'll try this in training and in real games.
Youre the man! Great explanation.. As a defender back in my day, proper slide tackles won me so many battles and you clearly point out why the success rate is high with Verratti... Timing was everything..
Please make a video on how midfielders find space for taking first touch under pressure whether they see the direction of pressing man or what else. Please tell me that in your podcast .
What a great video. Thank you!
Awesome video!!! This is great content!!!
What an amazing video!!!! Thanks heaps Will John, love your content!
Just a request: could you include the different segments of the video in your video description? it makes it easy to navigate through the video when we're watching it the second/third time around (Yes, i do that :P)
Keep em coming ☺️
Fantastic video Will.
Continue this type of content. This is brilliant.
Wowowow I must say your analysis of that player is quite impressive. I think it's a really good advice you have just given us, first use your body then look at the space you can go into/make the play in, or else create that free space by using go and come back.
First time I see a video of this channel, and wow this guy knows about football and how to explain it !! Great Job Will
Welcome to the promised land my friend.
Perfect timing thanx mate
Brilliant analysis
Amazing Vid ✌💫⚡
He understands the space around him and shields very well, that's it!
Oh yeah, that’s all! 🤡
@@infines5047 let’s forget the incredibile balance and dribbling he has
Great vid
I needed this youtube channel 7 years agoo 😭😭
Excelente video
Great analysis
Hes an absolute genius. He hardly ever does anything wrong. Quite simply.
PSG fan here : he is not that perfect
what has he done in CL ?
what has ur whole team done
Thank you for the midfield video
Thanks love the advice
Great video
It'd be amazing to get a breakdown on Joshua Kimmich and other 6s around the world. This video was great.
Excellent content

Keep The Questions Coming #qna
How to operate as a wide foward like Salah?
When to cut inside and when to stay wide?
And
How to drop into spaces for headers?
how to avoid getting card when tackling someone?
how to fake diving in the box
Good video
Yahooo 🥳
Bro our videos are top notch!
#QNA #qna would really appreciate a video on how to improve your balance.
nice video
Could you explain tuchels mind set and game plans that make him a terrific coach
Bro @ 4:07 in the video is Gold lol 😆 😂 rofl.. But your right, stub up or studs down I want the ball!!!

training drills for flase 9
and what actually is positioning of flase 9
Beautiful break down of Verratti's fundamentals. His game is part Pirlo, part De Rossi with a sprinkling of Gattuso sometimes.
Love to see him go to ground because his timing + judgement are very accurate. At the highest levels of the game sometimes he even can mistime these decisions, playing against great attackers. But its a percentages game that more often or not he succeeds in, because of good choices he makes. He is also nimble + fast to get back to his feet, often using the momentum of the slide or tackle itself. So this gives him confidence that he wont leave his side outnumbered, if he doesnt win the ball on the initial challenge. The failed attempt might be enough to hold up the progressing player with the ball, long enough so Verratti's own defenders can regroup and support him, or re shape.
The Messi challenge looks calculated for a few reasons. First of all, his right leg is closest to the ball and Messi. Bringing the left leg across will be a fraction slower than the right one. The left leg will also telegraph Verratti's intention more because its further away. Something Messi can exploit given the opportunity.
When contact is made Verratti is on his left side. Not back down or face down. On the approach he realises the danger because its Messi. He needs enough contact to win the tackle clean, thus choosing his own stronger right foot and heel to connect with the ball first. But by being on your side, close to the opponents feet, it can make the defenders body a higher hurdle to jump, if Messi manages to accelerate to the ball before him and scoop it over the slide coming in.
Verratti's backside is the insurance policy. Its bigger and wider than just a leg. So when the contact with the ball and Verratti's right foot is made, the glutes hit the standing, stronger left leg of Messi, insuring he wont be able to stay on his feet afterwards anyway, whether the ball is touched first or not. As a defender i liked clean tackles but i loved a tackle which i could win the ball first and leave something on the man afterwards. If you get a flair, flamboyant, attacking player wet, dirty and hitting the ground often when they dont want to only helps to discourage them running at you. If you can do it without being warning be the ref, keep going.
Verratti knows he isnt in the box so at worst its a freekick from a wide angle or a throw in. Maybe a yellow if Messi creates a clean path and moves the ball. But by choosing to connect with his right heel it turns the situation from a 50/50 duel to one much more in his own favour. The Referee's view is massive here also. Sometimes challenges can be judged based upon who looked in the worse possession leading up to the actually tackle, more so than the tackle its self, because the speed is too quick to judge. But if the officials cant see enough excessive force, the defender should come out on top alot of the time, especially if they get a clean connection.
lmao respect "imma tell you how it is, not how you want it to be"
Can we please see a Sonny analysis?
For the 11th commandment could you talk about your style and what do you think is the best way to develop a style? Please and Great content and very useful as always
That is a very vague question i appreciate any ideas you expand on thank you
I assume you mean playing style, like Messi has the simple body feints and neymar has these crazy skills. Or actual position on the pitch?
I think that the best way to develop your style is to learn what feels natural too you, find what feels natural too you and is the most effective for you it’ll come naturally
Watching players in your position can also help develop your style, see the little things they do and also the big things I also think it’s not good to try to play exactly like someone else
It’s good to grab bits and pieces from a lot of different players
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I read the title and immediately remembered Isco absolutely styling on Verratti during a Spain vs. Italy match lol
I'm so good with ground tackles my teammates renamed me to Wanbisaka.. Believe skillful dribblers becomes a joy to mark. I never learn it my coach gave me a new role so that quality miraculously sprout out. It works guys
💯

I would greatly love to ask this ; how to adapted different places playing style as I shifted from my hometown to new academy. I got some trouble in my game style...
Hahah That's the most normal thing in the world. Having played all over the world. Adapting is just a fact of life but you can make things easier on yourself good question bro
@@Goluremi thanks you so much ... Lot of love n support ♥️🤩❤️👊🏻⚽

#qna Can you make a vid on Cr7 freekick analysis before 2003-2014 and after 2014 - present?
Please make video for fullback
All facts
Can you break down Killian Mbappé or Neymar game
Some interesting points especially the shielding part. One safe way of doing it is actually using the opponent to ounce off him. Pirlo was also very good at that, sometimes leaning back on the man marking him, to then bounce off him more rapidly. However I disagree that Verratti is good at defending. He is actually a liability defensively both for club and national team. The reason being the selfish nature of his defense, he only defends what's tacklable, so out of 10 instances, they will get passed him 7 times perhaps and 3 times he will make a spectacular clean tackle. Which will look good on youtube highlights. But his defensive contribution will be almost non existent. A good defensive midfielder will defend more altruistically to make sure of 10 attacks he will have an impact on not just 3, but 8-9 of them, not winning the ball but delaying the attacks and allow team mates to get back in position in numbers.
Vidic: KILLINN YOU FOR THAT BALL
verratti: ima just take that right back mate
Haha Basically
great vid but isco did a job on veratti with the nutmeg
Question for the q and a, when do you Think you'll retire? (I hope you don't 😕)
Do a video on Left back 🥺🥺🥺🥺

As a psg supporter...Verratti is a privilege....dude doesn't miss. He's a certified club legend.
Edit: back heel tackles are so stylish...
Isco said hi
Can you to trent Alexander Arnold next?
Except the match against Spain, where not-top-form Isco mopped the floor with him several times.
Isco: “am I a joke to you?”
I was about to comment the same
Isco is clear
Isco and verratti aint on the same level. Verratti leaps and bounds better
@@ggez5266 isco destroyed verratti in italy vs spain and im italian
@@filippogalli9754 nah he didnt really destroy verratti. That match verratti just played decent nothing special while isco played pretty good. But you dont judge a player off of one game 😆. Verratti>>>isco
Could u guys please create a fifa 22 tournament all members of goluremi
How can wingers make spaces and cross the ball in the d-box?
As soon I saw the Topic. #ISCO is still a live man 😂😂
#qna i have great dribbling ability but i seem to forget everything when the game starts. How can i do as good as i do in training inside games
Do you loose the ball or you just don’t dribble ?
If you are afraid to dribble, just know one thing : The intensity and agressivity, is much higher during games. There is a lot of pressure as well. And, loosing the ball in training has no consequences while in a game it’s much more risky to dribble.
-So maybe you don’t dribble that well. A good dribble is also good under high pressure
-or you just lack the confidence : you are too afraid of loosing the ball. You fear the reaction of your teammates and coaches.
Would you keep Verratti /jorg/Barella for WC?? Or would you insert Zaniolo
#qna Why you are not doing Analysis videos in 11th commandment channel 😭
One drill to do every day?
Kovacic says hi
#qna Do you think being very fast is essential for the footballer? Any advice for winger or attacker midfielder with poor speed/acceleration?
Nah,speed isn't essential, however if you're a winger of striker,I'll recommend to work on your speed, because it can make a difference, even if you don't have it,you can play like a crossing specialist style of winger,or you can still be a traditional winger, use your close control and unpredictability to beat the defenders
If you're attacking midfielder,look at de bruyne,Bruno etc,they aren't fast,but still they're world class,so you don't need speed that much
It's useful, but give me a player with a high game IQ and composure any time of the week. The Milan team of the 2000's had this in abundance with Pirlo, Seedorf and Kaka.
De Bruyne analysis
Is it bad I’ve never slide tackled and don’t know how to
When you mentioned that « it’s not hard to play with an opponent pressing on your back just because you where he’s coming from » I disagree I think it’s actually very hard cuz even if you can cover the ball well like Messi or lukaku does, you never know when a second player is gonna come to try stealing it from the front so you have to keep checking your 360 view all the time while you’re protecting the ball
#qna Make a video on ozil why he was once considered king of assist and why fall down after a decent atart at arsenal
Love özil We'll probably talk about him here also.
@@Goluremi yes sir🥳
It seemed to me that he lost his hunger for the game; his drive and determination. There were so many games in which he was passive and let the game pass him by, and when that happened, his side looked like they were down to men. It's a great pity because during the half of his career he was very impressive, particularly his vision. Inter's Calhanoglu is similarly frustrating in that he posseses the same kind of vision and attacking talent, but fails to assert himself all too often.
#qna what kind of drills we can to practice some of these skills alone ? Thanks Will
im the future football king you know will john you will afraid of me sure
So as a defender when the opponent shields the ball should we press while also covering the "place where the attacker was"?
Press him hard when his back is to you. Watch out for his turning
Will if you could answer this from your perspective that would be awesome…Underrated question. Thanks

The only two principles to play football:
1. Protect the ball.
2. Use spaces.
