The US Open is the final Grand Slam of the year and takes place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. It was both players' first US Open title, with Alcaraz claiming his first Grand Slam title and Swiatek claiming her third Grand Slam title. I’ve to say she was a hard worker especially with 2 Roland Garros . I always thought she had more chance of winning another Wimbledon or us open than French open 😂. So impressed with the way she stayed focused even with the amount of endorsements she had . Tough mentality

I feel sorry for the haters. They missed out on a rare talent that rarely comes along in pro tennis. So many women lack the consistency Maria had rarely win more than 2 Grand Slams. They're missing out. Probably not even tennis fans to begin with...

What a champion! I love watching her play. She had the skills, but what was most special about her was clearly the mental discipline to take control of her reactions to frustration and elevate her game when she needed it most, or simply the steely will to fight until "Game, set, match".

Why she was so emotional when she won over Halep ? Any one can explain ?
Probably cause she went through many tough matches before even getting to the final and the final alone was extremely tough, there where times in the match that it looked like Halep was going to win. That and coupled with the fact that it was the first time she won a Grand Slam twice and this being clay, a surface which she hated, made this all a very sweet and emotional victory 😊
She was extra nervous and emotional because both her and Simona were dopers so she knew she didn’t have an unfair advantage over her

The most annoying, definitely unnecessary scream (that's not grunting and way too long) in the history of WTA, on the par with Serena Williams'. Their goal was to distract the opponent, but because they were bringing lots of money to every tournament they were in and to the WTA, they let them get away with it. Now we have Sabalenka to put up with. I rarely watch her games.
