Just picked up the MSI MECH2 RX6600 and paired it with R5 3600, 16 gb 3200 ddr4, MSI B550 mortar wifi, and a 144hz 1080p monitor. This is a great combo for 1080p gaming without killing your budget.

My RX 6600 usually sits around 4GB of VRAM and sometimes hits 4.5GB but NEVER once went above that. That's with FSR off and ultra settings, I wonder why in videos it's much higher 🤔

depends bro. i usually dont do everything in one sitting. on average it takes 1 week that includes, recording, editing, rendering.

nah, the vram wasnt even maxed out. i think the game is just having a long time loading the textures.

ATTENTION ALL!!! I was a former owner of this cpu gpu combl, and i can say, theres like sole bugs with this. If any of you are in the market for a new pc, get a 5600x and rx 6600. I played siege with this and got 160 and it never went over. I upgraded to 5600x and i got 340 fps with max render. I dont know if Amd has spoken on this. But this is from my experience

its an error on afterburner. for some reason the wattage reading on afterburner is inaccurate. but if you use the radeon software to read the power consumption it reaches 120w on full load.

hm, i have ryzen 5600x,radeon rx 6600, aorus master x570 with corsair vengeance 32 gb and cyberpunk 2077,DMC5 , metro exodus ect looks way better than in this video, the fps is simmular if not better. Is it the softuare you are using for the recording make it looks worse?

I have an i7 4790k at 4,5ghz with 32gb of ram 1600 cl9 h97m board (ram max at 1600 only)and an rx6600. I play most game ok at 1080p 60hz at high or max settings, but in game like saint row or Hogwarts legacy i have a lot of fps drop and the cpu go at 100%. I have a free ga-a320m-s2h v2 (v2 is the b350 chipset version), i try a ryzen 5500 and don't boot (with latest bios this board support officialy ryzen 5000 but the don't go over bios screen online is a common problem with b350 board with 4000 and 5000 ryzen). I just wanna try a 3600x and pair it with 32gb ddr4 3200mhz ram. Bios f40-f41 also activate pcie 4.0. If i buy an used 3600x and the ram for 150€ i see a good upgrade or only few fps?

Which upgrade do you recommend for the processor to the maximum version supported by the board's chipset or upgrade the board and processor to the 7000 series?
There is no need for upgrade really. Don't feel like you're outdated just because a AM5 has launched.
take a look at the ryzen 5700x. its worth it, it works cool and consume little, very nice powerful cpu or if you want to wait 3 or 4 years more without upgrading the cpu go with the 5800x3d, its your choice.

Hi, would Ryzen 5 2600 become a bottleneck for the rx6600. The R5 3600 is quite more powerful than the R5 2600.
For RX6600 combination with PCIE 4.0 support, perhaps it isn't wise for choosing unsupported PCIE 4.0 CPU.

if u have a 60hz monitor everything over 60fps in games u have actually - if u have 120fps and 60hz monitor u just see 60fps - if u have 144hz monitor and 15ßfps u´ll see 144fps

@@spardax8538 the performance on a pcie 4 is a bit better. but its not that much that you should worry about it.
@@spardax8538 Yes in your case it does. you should pay extra for the b550 chipset. and it's not even about 4-8% in terms of frame loss. A lot of feedback on micro starters on the platform with pc-e 3.0
