Engine OS 2.3.0 and Traktor 3.6 | DJ News and Software Updates!

- Yesterday, Engine OS 2.3.0 was released. Last week, Native Instruments dropped Traktor version 3.6… with which they’ve begun adding subscription features via Traktor Pro Plus. Today's video is a late-summer '22 news update for DJs.
With the latest version of Engine OS, we have a couple great new features. Nanoleaf Smart Lights integration, easy access to Quantize feature, better control over Beat Jump and Auto Loop, better key detection, and more.
Denon PRIME Go users get a huge upgrade: the ability to use it as a controller, thanks to Virtual DJ integration. No word yet on a similar upgrade for the Numark Mixstream Pro.
The most noteworthy addition to Traktor 3.6 is the Pattern Player. This is a new type of FX unit (meaning it slots right in with the rest of your normal FX) and it allows you to trigger samples in time with your music decks. This acts as a basic (very limited) sequencer-sampler.
Next up, we have the addition of Ozone Maximizer. Maximizer is simply a master limiter, which adjusts the release time to the input signal to keep your set from peaking and distorting.

I think traktor needs the cash to keep up with the competition. I would love to see a standalone traktor controller that needs no computer, or even a battery powered one!!
Yea that would put it in a new league!!
yearning for a NI traktor controller like the zone 1D from AH but it would have onboard memory like the sp404 mk2 by Roland to hold all your tracks to play with no computer.
with my intention being to use with an analog mixer by vestax.

With prime Go I had played on a streets all around town on a battery. I was making flashmob discos... And also took this to all the weddings and corporate summer events it's amazing how cool it is to do a transitons on this Denon standalone, of course there was people who was scratching head why so small dj equipment, but anyway everybody danced later. Also it's my backup tool on a national TV live shows where I do sound effects and play some music.

So Serato dropped their Stems update. Insane! If the separator in Traktor will remain behind a firewall I must simply Switch DJ software after 15+ years on Traktor…. 😔
Its time Traktor caught up with the rest. Would love to see a Standalone Controller from Traktor and especially a New Traktor D2 with better screens (Angled) possibly touch or a D2 with larger Angled screens and a Denon Prime touch sensitive 6" sized Jog wheels i think that would be amazing and a good seller especially for a high majority of DJ's out there.. i know i would be first in the line for a NEW D2 like that ..😁
Computer Mode / VDJ is Available on the Mixstream too!

Still waiting on Custom Cue Point Colors and Visible Hotcue Labels in Traktor
Engine software terrible at bringing Serato crates and cuepoints. This should have been a major bug fix. Even when I update the serato crates, it ommits lots of the cuepoints. Any work around you know of please? PEACE
This OS looks so much more professional compared to rekordbox.
Not sure what NI are thinking introducing subscription before any meaty updates. Need the cash to dev?
With their hardware all falling into back order, I imagine they need to drive that revenue stream

Isn’t it 2.3.1 the latest?
2.3.1 came out a week after 2.3.0 (and this video) and only includes a couple minor bug fixes.
