    What about ownership? Does the nocode tool provider own the apps created on their platform as well as the source code?

      You bring up a good point. I should have added that con to this video. With bubble, you DO own the app + the business, but you DON'T own the underlying code. It's a tradeoff I'm willing to have, though, in most scenarios!

    Hey Jordan, valid points. Just one thing to all of you when considering using NoCode tools for productivity environments: check the underlaying code and check if they care about accessability best practices. Most of these tools don't care at all. And if you use such tools in the "wrong country" in the "wrongs sector" - you will get sued faster than you think. And the chance is huge that you will loose. The argument "I didn't know" never counts. Just check it before and you're good to go. Why you have to consider this? The more "badly coded" NoCode tools are out there that still set barriers for blind users or users that can only use keyboards or other input devices - the more lawsuits there will be. Heck, I even had the idea to start such a "business" to sue companies that don't care about a11y. What most people don't know, there are laws which state what you have to do and what not. It's not the same in every country - so better check that before. Is this necessary? If you only care about money and profit - no. If you care about service and if you think, the web/net should be for everyone - then please do it. It's always the dev that sets barriers, it's not the people that have barriers.

      Thank you Mujakapasa. I admit sometimes I forget about this, but agree that accessibility considerations is important. Do you by chance have any resources to share on best UX practices for this?

    Do you transfer your project to traditional devs once you've reached a sustainable momentum ?

    • @nocodeadvantage
      @nocodeadvantage  Год назад +1

      Great question. That's definitely a route you can (and many do) take! My last startup, Revetize, is still built on Bubble though! 🎉
      We have since hired 2 awesome devs, 1 had zero programming experience (was a UX guy) and the other did have coding experience, but they still use Bubble!

    Hi Jordan. I am getting trained to use a low code platform to build apps. My training has just started. Can you make a video mentoring guys to focus on the things they should be focusing on. I was really surprise to know about this emerging technology which I was searching from a couple of years if it existed. Finally found it.🤑

      Glad you built it with Bubble! Great choice. If you can't cover the monthly costs with your users, I'd say you need to raise prices. I talk about how to structure pricing in my course. Or feel free to email me - jordan at nocodeadvantage dot com if you wanna discuss ideas.

    Did u had to train bubble developers to eventually take over the grunt work of developing on bubble? So that u could focus on strategy and marketing

    Hi Jordan, your content is really exciting! Can't wait to see how fast your channel will grow. Currently, I have a tech startup that has developed software that helps bookkeepers do the dirty work. This software uses OCR tech to extract the data of an invoice and processes the data that is acquired from the invoices. Instead of processing all the invoices one by one by the bookkeeper, the software handles the repetitive jobs that are seen as a waste of time. I was wondering on what scale it is possible to create a similar program like this by using no-code technologies? Thank you.

    • @nocodeadvantage
      @nocodeadvantage  2 года назад

      Thanks Mehmet, great question! Definitely possible with an integration.. Something like Google cloud's OCR api (or maybe you know of a better one) would work.

    No code can’t scale

    • @nocodeadvantage
      @nocodeadvantage  2 года назад +2

      I've proven it can; however, *how far* is the real question. I'll be transparent if/when we decide to switch to real code. The good news is this: It can at least scale far enough to where switching to code is no longer a risk or a financial burden 😎

    • @larryglover1607
      @larryglover1607 2 года назад +2

      "NoCode can't scale" is similar to the argument that "WordPress isn't a real website." Yet so many businesses have started on a less capable platform and delivered effective and, more importantly, profitable services to their market. With the internet you only need dozens, maybe a few hundred, customers to be profitable. And NoCode will definitely support that market. I've proven you can succeed in that timeframe with a MVP rather than watch a business opportunity go away as you try to learn how to do it the way somebody else thinks is "the right way." WordPress is the foundation for 40% of all websites.
