During the 90's East NY was one of the most dangerous places in this whole country. It didn't hep that it bordered the Brownsville neighborhood which is arguably the wildest neighborhood in Brooklyn With those 2 neighborhoods combined you have about 15 different housing projects You would have murders and shootings pretty much every night. Robbery was also very rampant. Everybody gets robbed in East NY lol, its always been that way. I love my hood and will always rep ENY, however I'm glad I was able to move away and have a descent chance at life. Not too many people made it out during my era. Its totally different now in 2022. Some parts can still be very dangerous but now it's becoming more gentrified. But yea if you survived East NY through the 80's and 90's you've seen a lot of wild shit.
