I was on it’s music/artsy side and I found many good songs there and cutesy art tips, which I liked very much where it even made me practice crocheting. The others are negative stuff that I don’t want to talk about. Like every other social media platform, it has it’s good sides and bad sides. (Edit: I also saw alot of cute pet vids there like the person just hanging out/playing with their dogs, cats, hamsters, frogs, you name it!)

For example losing weight is a hard journey and if you throw away all the junk food youve been eating it can help decrease weight by decreasing the weight you gain marking it as the first step of weight loss, tiktok is the same. By removing shit like drama and other things away from your life it can improve your mindset in a lot of different ways. Not using tiktok does not immediatly make you a better person, but it is the first step to the road of becoming a better human being.

There was someone wearing a cool, electronic mask, and he was miming animatedly with his hands, pretending that he was talking while the audio of a comedian ran in the background. I thought his mask was pretty cool, so I pressed the like button. But then I saw tens of TikToks in a row of different people using the same mask to the same audio doing the same thing.

This is precisely how I feel about the opposite types of people on tiktok - The ones where the joke itself is different, but thats it. Every single one of their videos features them sitting in the same spot, silently making the same face, playing the same laughing sound, with the same text format above their heads. The only thing that changes is the joke in the box.
I asked somebody this once and they said "it's a trend" and after being on the app for a while, this is almost the whole app, from videos to comments, its repeated jokes with little originality anywhere. To me TikTok is a place where anybody can be funny, as long as they steal.

This is precisely how I feel about the opposite types of people on tiktok - The ones where the joke itself is different, but thats it. Every single one of their videos features them sitting in the same spot, silently making the same face, playing the same laughing sound, with the same text format above their heads. The only thing that changes is the joke in the box.

I asked somebody this once and they said "it's a trend" and after being on the app for a while, this is almost the whole app, from videos to comments, its repeated jokes with little originality anywhere. To me TikTok is a place where anybody can be funny, as long as they steal.
