It doesn't inherently make you a better person, but losing weight is similar where just not eating as often can fix the issue

For example losing weight is a hard journey and if you throw away all the junk food youve been eating it can help decrease weight by decreasing the weight you gain marking it as the first step of weight loss, tiktok is the same. By removing shit like drama and other things away from your life it can improve your mindset in a lot of different ways.
Not using tiktok does not immediatly make you a better person, but it is the first step to the road of becoming a better human being.
I don't have tik tok and the only times I see tik toks are on RUclips shorts, most of which i skip because of how cringey or stupid they fucking are

I was on it’s music/artsy side and I found many good songs there and cutesy art tips, which I liked very much where it even made me practice crocheting. The others are negative stuff that I don’t want to talk about. Like every other social media platform, it has it’s good sides and bad sides. (Edit: I also saw alot of cute pet vids there like the person just hanging out/playing with their dogs, cats, hamsters, frogs, you name it!)
Seeing squizzy screams about tiktok makes me feel a lot better because i hate the app so much, glad I'm not the only one who COMPLETELY hates it, and it made my family dance in the hallway like an idiot

I finally got TikTok after my friends kept bugging me about it, and I immediately came across the same thing. There was someone wearing a cool, electronic mask, and he was miming animatedly with his hands, pretending that he was talking while the audio of a comedian ran in the background. I thought his mask was pretty cool, so I pressed the like button. But then I saw tens of TikToks in a row of different people using the same mask to the same audio doing the same thing.
its a way to obtain easy clout. The bad: people who are lazy will copy something existing en masse, bogging down the entire app with repetitive drivel. The good: people who have yet unseen skills get to display them. The bad to the good: their content will get buried under the piles of unimaginative media and require very careful curation of content to maintain a interesting feed.

I just want to congratulate myself and the other people out there like me who don't use or download that app because we all deserved it. When I'm starting to learn to have fun in the internet like watching memes or even the relatable ones for me as an introvert... TikTok at those times are horrible but nowadays, that app became worse than that. I know I may sound negative but its true because most of the popular videos there are cringy and to see the good side, you need to dig or get those bad recommendation change in the good way you like.
