Thanks Roy, I used to find them really hard when I was starting, now they're just very enjoyable, that counter milling is surprisingly effective, way more so than on something like an 1100 which is what really takes you by surprise if you've only picked standard euros or padlocks
Fantastic walk-through of this lock. A tricky lock with a satisfying ending. Well done paul. There's no doubt that you're a professor with this level of detail 😅
Love this video. I've wondered about the differences in these locks and now I know! Great and helpful video on how to get these open too! Absolutely great work Paul! Thank you for sharing! 🥰😍😘😘
@@paulg413 I'll give it a shot! Thanks Paul! Just got your package btw! Was gonna do a mail call but it's raining so hard I can't hear anything in the garage and my internet is going up and down lol
@@paulg413 it is good, I was so nervous at first but TLP 1969 really is a credit to his craft and makes it so much more easier and enjoyable 😊I'm just looking through my tale box now after this vid , seeking 500s😊😂👌🍻
Thank you! I was stuck on the 500, i have two of them that ive been picking for a couple of months with no luck at all. A couple days ago i watched this video and now i’ve picked both several times. Its actually super easy suddenly. Now i will move on to my KM1 and try to master that one aswell before i start looking at purple locks. Thank you! The cue that fixed my method on this lock was ”very light tension”, it took me a day or two to find the right amount of ”very light tension” 😀 but it worked! Btw, do you accept challenge locks?
Congratulations, I'm glad it helped 👍👍 I do accept challenge locks, you should be able to find me fairly easily on Discord, give me a ping there and we can sort it out, thanks
Well picked and great explanation!
Thank you, much appreciated 👍👍
Thanks for sharing this video! Great information on the lock and its operation. Quality is Paramount!!
You have one of these now Pete 😁😁Enjoy!!
The secret weapon in this locks is the counter milling. Fantastic run through and a good educational watch.
Paul you've ticked all the boxes ✅️

Had you not said i wouldn't even known it was considered difficult must have done hundreds of these my half snowman loves them! churrs LPP!
They really used to cause me a lot of trouble early on, probably due to too much tension causing everything to bind up
Great video, thanks 👍
Thank you 👍👍

Thanks Chevy, really appreciate that 👍
Excellent tutorial & as you already know I struggled with this one too 😊
They're a great lock to measure progress, once you get these down reliably you're know you're really improving 👍🍻
@paulg413 actually something I need to do is split my time between new locks & repeats to measure progress better, good point

Thanks so much LL, it's a great little lock, really appreciate you watching and commenting 👍👍
Great video. You navigate that yale keyway like a pro. Cheers
Thanks PP, much appreciated 🍻
Lol, when the pic of the pins popped up id thought id screwed up and opened a window into something 😂
Great break down!
Thanks Charles, this is one we need to get you
@@paulg413 it is time to start my big boy collection for sure!
I have played many games of ping pong with them did not no they were counter milled, grate video 👍
Thanks Rich, I think it's only the 500 that has countermilling, surprisingly effective
Great job on that pick and gut Paul! I have a yale hf euro I can't get yet but I'm not sure what it is... thanks for sharing!
Thanks Adam, What's on the front of your lock?
@@paulg413 It says Yale with that trademark logo and the key looks just like yours I believe. Maybe it is a 500...
@@thecompguy yeah, that sounds like a 500, if you gut it you can find out for sure, lighten up the tension and see if that makes any difference
