    The secret weapon in this locks is the counter milling. Fantastic run through and a good educational watch.

      Thanks Roy, I used to find them really hard when I was starting, now they're just very enjoyable, that counter milling is surprisingly effective, way more so than on something like an 1100 which is what really takes you by surprise if you've only picked standard euros or padlocks

      They really used to cause me a lot of trouble early on, probably due to too much tension causing everything to bind up

      They're a great lock to measure progress, once you get these down reliably you're know you're really improving 👍🍻

      @@paulg413 It says Yale with that trademark logo and the key looks just like yours I believe. Maybe it is a 500...

    Thank you! I was stuck on the 500, i have two of them that ive been picking for a couple of months with no luck at all.
    A couple days ago i watched this video and now i’ve picked both several times. Its actually super easy suddenly. Now i will move on to my KM1 and try to master that one aswell before i start looking at purple locks.
    Thank you! The cue that fixed my method on this lock was ”very light tension”, it took me a day or two to find the right amount of ”very light tension” 😀 but it worked!
    Btw, do you accept challenge locks?
