This is my theory - In my opinion when Brahmāstra was born, that Monster was also born and what Guruji told Shiva about Dev was true but in initial days Dev was not a villain. I think when Dev went to fight with that Monster he came to know something strange that made him realise that there is a big threat to the Brahmāstra and the Brahmānsh, but till he realises all these it was too late and that monster brainwashed Dev, and told him to bring the Brahmāstra to him so that he (monster) can become more powerful. But Dev being imprisoned in a statue by Amrita, he took the help of Junoon to join the three pieces together. But we can see a huge fight between Shiva and Dev in Part 2 and Dev loses and tells his story to Shiva and the Brahmānsh and at the end we get a cliffhanger, like the Monster has awaken and now heading towards the Brahmānsh and the film ends at this point.
Then, in Part 3 we could see a plot like, Dev explaining everyone about the Monster and the Brahmānsh getting ready to fight the Monster and we could see a huge fight, even biggger than Shiva and Dev, and after a huge fight the Monster somehow gets hands of the Brahmāstra and just as he uses it Shiva and Dev come together and make a Trishul or any other weapon strong enough to injure that Monster and at the last Shiva or Dev uses the Brahmāstra to kill that Monster and the film ends and everyone is happy and returns to the Ashram.

If Amrita had the power of Jalastra then how could she turn Dev into stone?
Remember Dev Didn't Start out as a Villain. He got greedy as he mastered more and more astraverse. It is possible That art is from an earlier time when he defeated the Rakshas or Demon before He got greedy. But it is alos very Highly Possible Guruji is hiding the full truth.. I got that feeling too
I think the demon corrupted Dev before being defeated/killed.
Maybe Dev killed a demon after that he was so obsessed about power and took that demon's power or that demon is controlling Dev. If Dev was a good guy he wouldn't kill other members like SRK and Nagarjuna for 3 pieces.

1. Junoon and Shiva might be twins because Amrita was pregnant once according to Guruji. Junoon had the power of water which she might have gotten from their mother, Amrita.
2. I think there's more to Isha than what we've seen until now.She has a much bigger role to play. The reason being her actions were very suspicious.
* She didn't even once revealed who her parents are or anything about her family.
* Shiva's powers fully unleashed only after he met Isha
* She just casually tagged along with Shiva when he found about Anish.
* She was way too interested in the part of Brahmastra held by Anish.
* Since he came to Shiva's life, Mohan got killed, Anish got killed and the full power of Brahmastra was released.
* Junoon's goon failed to kill her when she went to Shiva's house to take his things. WHy would Guruji send her there? And how she escaped that person who had the full power of Nandi?
* She always put herself through extreme situation to save Brahmastra from Junoon. She even jumped out of the protective shield.
* My take is that she was planted to make Shiva realise the full potential of his powers.
* When she saw him the first time at the Durga Puja Pandal, she made sure to expand that fire to see Shiva's reaction to it. So maybe she was there to make Shiva ralize who he really is and forcing him to embark on a journey to find his truth. She was sent by someone who knew that Junoon was planning to awake Dev again. So, she is like an undercover agent.
~Even I noticed that Isha is wearing Dev's ring.....maybe he send her to shiva otherwise isha got it from her parents (who also hidden member of brahmansh) or I feel like she has some major game plan behind helping Shiva with Brahmastra. Is there a possibility that she is Pawanastra??? Or what if she’s the villain herself because She readily joined Shiva in his quest without any issue. There can be 2 reasons. She has some stake in it.Or she was bored and alone. I won’t rule out second possibility.
3. My theory will be Guru is the main villain. Dev might be an anti hero of sorts. It can be the reason why Amrita never returned. Or Maybe Isha was sent by Guruji too....
