  • On September 15, 2012 the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad ran an "almost" total track tour over their line from Brecksville to Canton, Ohio to celebrate their 40th Anniversary. The trip was run as part of their annual Steam in the Valley event, an Age of Steam Roundhouse #1293, a veteran of the Candian Pacific and Ohio Central railroads, provided the power. This was the first outing of one of Jerry Jacobson's steam engines since the Age of Steam roundhouse was built and the Canadian-built G5 pacific did not disappoint. CVSR's own ex-Baltimore & Ohio #800 provided the power for the return trip. We also catch a regular CVSR excursion twice as it ferries tourists through the National Park. We hope you enjoy the video, and be sure to watch in 720p HD!
