- AndyCine Best LunchBox for Atomos Recorders - Review & Guide. This video will look at the multiple generations of AndyCine LunchBox and determined in my testing and opinion the best LunchBox to use with any Atomos Recorders. If you are unfairly with AndyCine LunchBox it is a CNC Aluminum enclosure to house or act as a guide to an SSD that can be used in placed of an Atomos plastic master caddy, which takes regular 2.5" SSD. These enclosures and guides offer a cost effective alternative and flexibility compared to Atomos OEM master caddy or even 3rd Party drives which can be costly such as AngleBird or G-Drive. @@ArtIsRight Do you have any idea if the luncbox 2 is compatible with the ninja 2023 model ? I see no info about it but that one looks similar in size to the ninja v . I actually asked Andycine about it and got a response in broken English that its not. Im still doubtful if the person actually understood the question as logic dictates that a ssd like the Evo is the same size on ninja v and new ninja, meaning it should fit ?

Lunchbox 2 over 3 anyday. That drive still sticks out and can bend or break because it doesn't have protection.
Also the 3 (like the angelbird & master caddy) blocks the intake vent to the ninja v. Just don't have any of those issues with the 2

Does lunchbox iii fit Ninja Ultra?

I've just purchased the recommended 2TB and it does not fit inside the Luchbox ii

Does anyone know if the Lunchbox takes a T7?? Everyone says its made for the T5 i'm curious if the T7 works since it's basically the same drive
Have not taken one apart but T7 speed is different from T5 so my guess is that internal components are different

T7 is all in one piece, board, memory and USB-C and cannot be put in anything than its own case. T5 is the right choice, if its still available.
I just buy anglebjrd and call it a day.
V3 is great, but if you have the budget for angle bird, then great, not stopping you there.
@memcrew1 The angelbird max is a 2TB at $549 USD. I use the Master Caddy II with a WD 4TB Blue SSD at $229 USD. I don't care that it protudes out past the monitor. For the same price as a angelbird 2TB SSD, I can purchased two WD 4TB SSD's for the same price. It's a no brainer.
