Jaha dukureh I have went through Female circumcision and nothing absolutely happened to me. Mind you not only me but my family members, friends, and we all had our kids Alhamdullilah with zero complications. What these people are asking for is simple,they’re not saying everyone should do it By force, it’s only a choice to practice it or not to. By the way you have live in the west, no doubt you have seen transgender people changing their private parts from male to female that’s not an issue and we all know that is way far complicated than circumcision. You and your entourage should spare us with the double standards. You have been advocating the trauma you went through but that shouldn’t determine our choices in our lives. One last thing if you and sister were mutilated that doesn’t determine same thing was done to us, we were circumcised not mutilated!
If you believe in Allah and the teachings of the Qur'an you will understand that death come for people on different circumstances not because of FGM and if that is so why you don't die when they did it to you sister please stop lying and concentrate on your work.
The problem about this issue is that women themselves are not in total agreement as to what should be done.Another well placed Woman says She has gone through the process and has not developed any problems, she is happily married and has children the way she wants with her husband,gives birth as fast as a moving vehicle.
This people are not talking for their own identity they're not about their own selfish interests. This is my first time in my entire life with all my travel both Africa and Europe and some small parts of Asia 🌏 that one wants to emphasis his or her traditions and belive and his or her culture you said is not acceptable in our consultation and it's illegal. Are we serious all those you say talking they're talking for their pocket. Our fathers and mother an still thousands of women are giving birth at home without any problems. For how many centuries women are given birth at home infact when did this hospital 🏥 thing started. This people themselves know that they are lying
Female Circumcision is not the same as the FGM you guys are campaigning against. Excessive cutting or total removal of the clitoris is not the Female Circumcision that is allowed in Islam. Stitching up the vagina is not part of Female Circumcision. Female Circumcision in Islam is simply removing a miniscule part of the clitoris. This practice, when done by someone trained, and measures taken to prevent blood loss is not harmful. The same goes for Male Circumcision, which when done right doesn't cause any harm. What needs to be done, is to discourage the practices that are excessive and uncalled for, but also ensure that Female Circumcision is done by trained practitioners, and measures taken to avoid harm.
