Yeah it’s been pretty crazy. Been non stop. Just really have t felt like recording much lately. Just been to tired. I plan to get back at it. At least try and post 3-4 a week if possible.
Good video 👍 Nice to see you again. I don't know how it's been where you are, but my area has been riddled with storms all year so far and tree damage has been huge. Hope your mom is doing well.
It hasn’t been bad lately. But for a while there it was storm after storm. And very hot. Now it’s back in the 70’s. Thank god. She’s doing okay. Mom and dad are back up here for a few weeks helping me with some firewood. Maybe I can get her on camera and show her finger.
@@Treestofirewood it's been 10 to 15 degrees warmer here than normal for the time of year plus humidity nearing 95 percent which is unusual. Constant thunderstorms and high winds are felling trees, especially ash. Glad your mom is doing well. Stay safe and keep hydrated.
Hi Matt Looks like a nice machine !! Unless i missed something.... a few video's back i thought you said your next machine was gonna have a long conveyer and on a swivel !!! Is that yet to come ??
Great video. The wedge looks be moving around a tremendous amount. The processor sure does cranks the wood. I have a question for you. It seems like you’re bending over a good distance. Can the processor be raised to accommodate a less of a distance to bending over so far. Have a great week ahead sir.
Actually the 4 way in my opinion doesn’t move at all compared to the 6/8way wedge. Only reason I use the 4 way. It may move a little bit. But I don’t have to reset after 2 cuts as I do with the other wedges. You could raise the machine up if you wanted too. But if you look the side of the log trough is up to my waist. And if you raise the machine if you wanted to grab the logs and re split I feel you wouldn’t have any strength to pick them up as the sides would be digging into your stomach or chest.
@@Treestofirewood completely understand the height situation. Completely thinking out of the box. 📦 I wonder if the adjustable wedge doesn’t have enough pressure to adequately hold the the cylinder from moving. Or see if brute could send a new one or bigger cylinder to solve the movement.
@@Treestofirewood new machine o yea. I didn’t know that. That is fantastic. I can’t wait to see it tearing up some rounds. I just come in from working on my new machine. Well it’s actually old as long as it’s taken me. Sure would like to show you someday. Leveling in feed roller deck tonight. My Working job 6- 10 hr day schedule sure does zaps me. . So hot.!!! Keep it real and peeled back down clear to the hub I say. Processor same company. ??????
@BW35bucket sounds like a good project you have going on. Yeah I’d like to see it. You must of missed a video. I did mention about getting a new one hopefully soon. I am excited just not sure when it will arrive. Have t said a brand or model. Haha but the new one I think should solve all my concerns and wants.
I've never ran a processor, but from your videos and the other videos I've seen i think the 4-way may be more productive than the 8 way. You have to run pieces back through, but almost every piece is something you could sell instead of all the scrap that you have to separate out.
@ChampionFirewoodManitoba yeah. If you separate the logs by size then it’s okay. But that takes to much time to do. If I had a much larger operation then I would have them all separated. But I do find it fun to use the 4 way
18 inch log will be cut no problem. A 20 inch can be done if it is odd shaped and tall side is up. I try and keep it around 17 or less and then you can just fly.
Good to see you back I know it’s a busy season for you

Sure a nice machine
Yeah I’m pretty happy with the machines performance. Makes a lot of wood in a hurry.

The new machine has not arrived yet. Still being built. Should be within the next few weeks.

@BW35bucket I would make some adjustments that’s for sure but now I’m just waiting on the new machine.

Yup. My machine has a 4 way. We tested a 6 way this spri before buying and didn't like it. So much debris. I guess that's ok to make some kindling

I like how your processor chair remains unused
Yeah. I don’t find myself sitting down very often.
What is the max. diameter of the wood log could be cutted?

What processor is this??
Not a good one
@@dioncurline3266what processor do you have?
I have the BruteForce 16-24
@dioncurline3266 how so?
