Okay so Bobby Miller: If you get him back prioritize the splitter, throw it often mixed with the slider. Use the four seam as the out pitch. Sinkers only inside against right handed batters, use the curveball sparingly but it's workable. So splitter heavy essentially, all over the zone.

For Miller I found its better to use his sinker very sparingly . I think people are so horned up for outlier against him, and a lot would often end up being late on it. So they end up perfect timing for the sinker. I throw a lot of off speed , splitter slider with him and have only given up 3 runs in over 20 innings in the 800s in ranked. You cant miss your pinpoint with him either those are the pitchers that got rocked against me.
The beating the throw at first if you don’t slide is def a thing I think, I’ve seen so many times where a guy could have beaten the throw if he didn’t slide into first. Something about the animation makes you late to the bag

I honestly don’t believe the card is the issue. The issue is that no one uses the PCI option for hitting online anymore. Everyone uses the timing option, so as long as they time the pitch up and it’s in the zone, they can square it up.

A lot of people forget that in the last update they changed the swing and miss on the splitter.
