Wow I loved how in depth your connection between a Christmas carol and rhubarb and custard! Impressive!
Hahhaa, I impressed myself with that one😂
Seinfeld is super underrated. I watch reruns on an almost daily basis lol. 40:55
I genuinely think it’s better than friends but doesn’t get anywhere near as much hype!
✨🎄
🎄💖
"some absolute souls" -- such a beautiful British insult
😂
I loveeeee your yellow jumper for the tree scene!
Thanks so much!
Ciara, love your vlogs, both old and new ones 💖
Thank you so much!
Nice analogy between rhubarb and custard & Scrooge!
Thank you - I was quite pleased with that one😂
Ah, bits with Oscar are sooo cute!
Thanks again for all the efforts you make to upload a new episode , enjoyed the tea "sommelier" part , I am neither a fruity tea lover , the chocolate one was not in my box probably because I chose the Caffeine Free version , good luck with the reading goal 🤩!
Thanks so much for watching! Ooh that’s interesting, which flavour did you have instead?
@@ciarascorner I had "Lemon Sherbert" and today "Deep Breaths"
I love Me Before You and if you like the characters and the writing, I'd really recommend trying out the sequel books especially the third book Still Me. You follow so much character growth in Lou in the books, and each book makes me cry for different reasons haha. JoJo Moyes also wrote a special short story during the initial Covid lockdown about what Lou would be doing during the lockdown and it was very fun!
I have watched the movie: Me before you, and I cried my eyes out! I haven’t dared reading the book.
Your Christmas tree is beautiful!
Sadly, that kind of people are everywhere! 🤗
I can imagine the film would devastate me!
Your tree looks very nice - mazel tov. Sadly, we have no tree this year, nor have we had one in quite some time. I do miss them tho (as I miss my last cat, Oliver), as X-mas trees are among my best memories of childhood. Thx, Ciara. You know, I wait all year for these Tea Vlogmases. Have a very happy holiday season!
Thanks so much! Sorry to hear you’re missing Oliver💔
♥️✨🎄
I would love a read with me video in front of your Christmas tree if you have the time. It's so cosy, and I don't have a tree this year. Living vicariously through Christmas vlogs... :D
We eventually moved out of York because of the parties of day drinkers, so I feel your pain. It's a shame as they really do ruin a lovely historic city a lot of the time.
Can definitely understand why - I think we’ll definitely move further out at some point!
I'll be that cat in my next life... Love your vlogs!!!
Sounds fabulous!
Me before you is amazing!! I read the book and watched the movie and there is a sequel after you and still me
I hope you enjoy it 😍
Interesting - will have to look the sequels up!
I live in York and honestly despair at the city centre at the weekend, just so unpleasant for residents!
It’s absolutely nightmareish isn’t it!
@@ciarascorner it's almost like York isn't big enough to cope!
Me Before You is so problematic and, as a disabled person, makes me so angry. I'll be interested to hear your final thoughts.
From a story perspective I liked the characters and enjoyed seeing Louisa and Will get to know each other, however I do think the book was devastating!
I eagerly await this season all year, and watching your Vlogmas videos just adds to my festive feeling so, so much! I LOVE your tree. I'm enjoying my tea advent calendar also. I read "Me Before You" last year, and then I watched the film after. They were both so good. I'm usually more disappointed in a film after reading the book, but I wasn't with this one. I think the casting was so good!
Thank you so much for watching! I definitely want to watch the film soon!
Yay a new vlog‼️ chocolate digestive 😋‼️I haven’t read Me Before You or seen the movie, but I’m a little curious to see how you like it?‼️ My family has put up the 🌲 but we haven’t finished putting up all the ornaments, but soon‼️ 🍕😆‼️Wow York sounds stressful‼️
Ps: I’m almost done with On A Night Like This by Lindsey Kelk (which you may remember is the same writer of The Christmas Wish) so far it’s been funny and romantic. As for a reread I’ve started Little Women and it’s so much fun‼️ Last but not least I picked up Where We Go From Here by Lucas Rocha it’s about three young men and their experiences with aids(so far it’s been a somewhere between scary, funny, and a little sad).
Ooh interesting - I definitely plan to read more by Lindsey Kelk and also hoping to reread Little Women over Christmas too!
I know the lyrics of the song are "try to set the night on fire",but that's taking things too far.😁Your tree is lovely so hopefully Oscar gets on board.💝
Hahah exactly! Oscar is definitely more interested in the tree with each passing hour!
I feel old I eat hard boiled sweets 😹
So do I🤣
You feel old... we call them "sucking candy" in the US.
Hahaha so sorry guys!!
Love a hard boiled sweet 😂
