I look forward to seeing the 3 of you and your different ideas. I agree with Natalie that sometimes perfection is overrated. No one is going to go over your quilt and point out all mistakes. They are going to love that you made them a gift! Awesome quilts ladies!
Unless your husband has OCD, he is constantly pointing out teeny tiny little errors i may have made in my quilts. No one else would ever notice but he does.....😂😂
Oops... my DIL made one quilt and said never again. Her family loves to snuggle up in that quilt, but it had come apart at some seams. So at Thanksgiving I borrowed needle and thread while she was at work and did my invisible stitch magic on it... and draped it over the sofa back, all fixed up. Many years left in that beautiful quilt. Never occurred to me that she might cry about it. OMG what if it had offended her instead of happy tears?
Oh My Gosh!!! All of the quilts are fabulous. But, I've just got to say, Misty, your quilt will be made a number of times by me! I'm ecstatic as I have a layer cake that is burning a hole in my pocket! And, I have a fat quarter bundle that will look fab in this quilt. I can't wait to get started. Many Thanks, Ladies; I Love Periwinkle Quilts (I'll be making all 3). 😁 🌸
I bought the pattern for Misty’s quilt. I thought it would be a difficult quilt to make, but after watching the video, it’s a little easier than I thought. Happy Quilting!!!
Misty's looks like an instant classic to me - it has an old-timey yet modern feel. All three of you are so creative and continually inspiring. - Violet
Love all of your videos. My husband and I served a mission at the Polynesian Cultural Center almost 13 years ago in the place where they sell quilts, ukaleles etc . I got the bug and when we got home I found Jenny online. Her classes are so easy to follow. I now have a closet full of quilts. Thanks Jenny.
Love all 3 versions. As Jenny commented, Natalie's would be cute with black and white 'stars' and Missy's is perfect for decorative stitching in the center of each block. You gals are awesome!!
WOW, ladies! Fabulous quilts once again! I lobe that you share your tips, techniques and challenges with us. I’m glad that Misty questioned the position of the white piece on Jenny’s Periwinkle Dot block, since I would think that I’d put it on wrong too! An the bonus runner! I think I would make a lap quilt (3 blocks x 4 blocks and make a pillow or two to go with it-one with the extra blocks and the other with the stagger border blocks like in Jenny’s runner. Thanks for showing Jenny’s sketch of her cutting plan! What a brilliant plan for sewing and cutting the 10” squares! Natalie’s quilts never fail to amaze me! Such a creative mind! Misty’s quilt construction is so clever! I can see ways to change up the colours for different effects. Love this! Thank you all, and stay well! Muskoka ON 🇨🇦
I made a periwinkle quilt from this template several years ago. Since then I’ve gotten the smaller template but I haven’t yet made a quilt with it. Now I feel inspired to make a new one!
Y'all hit it out of the park. I love all three quilts and the bonus table runner. I hope y'all have a very Merry Christmas with your families and hope the MSQC employees have a Merry Christmas. Happy New Year too!!!
Hello jenny I just received a package from my cousin and it's 25 days of Christmas and it's just been a joy don't you everyday It's a need idea Thank you Everything I've gotten Has been really sweet and needed Thank you again I think my cousin everyday for the guilt Gift.
I love periwinkle quilts. My Grandmother made me one when I got married. The periwinkles are small and the entire quilt is hand stitched. Such a treasure. Making a periwinkle quilt is on my todo list, but I will use a sewing machine on mine. You have given me some great examples today. Thank you and yes you have hit another one out of the park.
Hi, Natalie you look more like your mom. You could be sisters. Thanks for the triple plays . Jenny, Misty & Natalie you all are so talented! Thank you for helping us strive to become better quilters.
Wow, I just discovered Missouri Star and so excited to learn how to quilt. All of you ladies are so beautiful and I love to see how you all sew together. Thanks for putting out such great videos.
These are always the greatest tutorials. Love the idea that everyone has a different block from the same template. And, what fun you have doing the tutorials.
Triple play Friday is my favorite Friday!!! Three quilting icon’s all in one video. I loved all the quilts!!! Misty’s looked so complicated but it was so easy! Natalie has the most spectacular designs, and Jenny makes beautiful designs looks so easy. All three would be beautiful for patriotic or Christmas quilts. Thank you ladies! P.S. The Christmas Box is wonderful !!!
These quilts are so beautiful and the creativity of each pattern is amazing. You ladies explain the details of each quilt so well that even I understand. I also think Misty's pattern would be beautiful made In traditional Christmas colors or in autumnal colors. Ya'll did great.
Love watching the 3 of you together. Natalie is such a pretty girl! Looks very much like her sweet Momma! And I love the quilt she created. That fabric is gorgeous!. I was shocked at how easy Misty made her blocks come together! I might actually be able to accomplish that! 🤓 Loved all 3 quilts ladies! Thank you for sharing!
They’re all beautiful I think I have to pick misties this time as I am a beginner and hers seems to be the easiest for me to do at this point in my quilting journey love all your videos
I'm looking forward every weeks Friday, waiting for a new video of Missouri Star, and the triple play always is the top of the cream. So refreshing and encouraging to see y'all working together and spreading the fun of patchwork. Thank you so much for my every Friday highlight!
I have to ration my data and save it for the end of the month to enjoy watching the longer Triple Play videos, but it's always well worth the wait! Thanks for letting me learn techniques and lovely new patterns! 😺💕🐾
All of these quilts are beautiful and I especially love Misty’s today. I immediately saw the mid-mod stars in the intersections of the blocks. I want to make it and reverse the background and layer cake fabrics so the stars become the primary pattern and the “wreath” becomes the secondary. Thanks for all the great ideas.
Love todays Periwinkle Tutorial. Such amazing quilts and bonus! I can’t decide which one to make! I do have all 3 templates though. Love seeing you all on Triple Play. 💖💖💖
Really love this one; especially the one that Misty made. SEW EASY!!! I can imagine that in Christmas colors with a red background. Like Jenny said, "I'm making this one"! Merry Christmas to all!!
Hi ladies….. yes you guys out did the triple play …..I’ve had this wacky web and periwinkle template a long time and Nothing but mug rugs …… now I’m all set to really use this template and actually make quilts …..yeahhhhh! And a merry Christmas to each of you🎄 Karol
Well, you never disappoint….Love the quilts, I used my wacky web template for lots of my neighbor Christmas gifts this year! Merry Christmas Doan ladies!
Always look forward to triple play. Love Natalie’s and Misty’s. Sorry Jenny, when I first saw yours, I thought toilet paper rolls! Very much an illusion type block! Merry Christmas to the extended Doan family, ❤️🇦🇺
Me again - wow! I never even saw that 4-patch in Misty’s quilt😲😲😲. I was expecting it to be a bit difficult but - no way! And again I can see this quilt (along with the other two) in so many different fabrics. My head is swimming with ideas for charity quilts for my quilt guild - we just make our quilts around 40”-42” x 55 “ or so as they are for kids.
I have used a square foundation before, but a triangular foundation opens up so many ideas! As if my "would love to sew this idea" list needed to be any longer, lol. I can definitely get excited about projects faster than I can put them to thread!
I’ve been I’ll for a while and haven’t seen y’all for some time, this looks so fun, want to try them all. I must say y’all look awesome and Natalie you look amazing! Misty I love your hair ! Jenny you are just amazing and positive minded!
I look forward to seeing the 3 of you and your different ideas. I agree with Natalie that sometimes perfection is overrated. No one is going to go over your quilt and point out all mistakes. They are going to love that you made them a gift! Awesome quilts ladies!

My dad used to say A man on a galloping horse would never notice. That’s my philosophy.
Oops... my DIL made one quilt and said never again. Her family loves to snuggle up in that quilt, but it had come apart at some seams. Never occurred to me that she might cry about it. OMG what if it had offended her instead of happy tears?
There will be those who enjoy pointing out imperfections. The trick is to be satisfied with your work, yourself.
Y’all are awesome ❤
It is so nice to see Natalie smiling more. I hope that means she is happier. Best wishes for all the family.
I just always wonder how people feel about personal comments, especially in public.
I can't believe how easy Misty's block is and what a gorgeous block it makes. All 3 quilts are amazing!
Oh My Gosh!!! All of the quilts are fabulous. But, I've just got to say, Misty, your quilt will be made a number of times by me! Misty's quilt is Fabulous 👌 I saw Christmas wreaths in my head straight away! Triple Play is so inspiring. Thank you Missouri Star! ❤️
What wonderful idea!
Agreed! Misty’s pattern works the best for my brain and I could totally see wreaths and stars with Christmas prints!
love the AGF fabric!
I love Jenny's facial expression for Misty's quilt. Great job ladies, always. love triple play
I bought the pattern for Misty’s quilt. I thought it would be a difficult quilt to make, but after watching the video, it’s a little easier than I thought. Happy Quilting!!!
Have now made three of Mistys pattern . I love it. Now christmas placemats
Misty's looks like an instant classic to me - it has an old-timey yet modern feel. All three of you are so creative and continually inspiring. - Violet
Love Natalie’s quilt as it really looks like an antique Civil War quilt. In fact I could see this being done in Civil War reproduction fabrics too 💜

Natalie is such a great teacher just like her mom!!❤❤❤❤😊😊
Natalie's quilt is the one that is inspiring me today. I love all 3, but there is something about Natalie's I like so much. Good job ladies.
Wow! Like this Triple Play. Only this time Misty is the winner for me.
Love Misty's hair
Wow Jenny you are leaving me speechless with your excellent quick technique. Thank you
The hair...the HAIR!! Love it on everyone. Oh yeah, the quilts are pretty great, too! Merry Christmas!
Natalie, your quilts are so unique and original. Thank you!

I think this was one of my favorite Triple Play episodes!! Love all three patterns
I agree-I also think this is one where I am looking forward to making all three ❤
I like Jenny's best. I want to make it with yellow/gold metallic stars on a navy background.
I need a “Natalie and Misty” fairy to help me 😂
I know, aren't they a great team! Sooooo fun
I’ve never said this before about a Triple Play but TBH I can’t chose a favorite this Triple Play, I love them ALL!!!

I love the look of surprise on Jenny’s face when Misty shows the block.
"Santa Jenny" has helper elves! Love the periwinkles!
Natalie this is so festive! It reminds me of jesters in medieval times! You three hit a home run!
Jenny gets my favourite vote this time.
This was another winner, I loved everyone of the different designs.
Three awesome periwinkles!
How you 3 come up with these ideas is amazing! I loved all 3 quilts. Misty’s really surprised me because of its simplicity. It looked so hard.
