I read somewhere that Adam wasn't wearing sunglasses because the other contestants didn't tell him that they were gonna wear it. They made a joke. And Adam didn't even notice it until someone at one point asked him why he was the only one without sunglasses, it's funny!
Season 8 was the best season by far, after all it gave me Adam Lambert. He is amazing in everything he does!

This one's a lot of fun. Everyone looks great in the those outfits, especially Lil. How could you not enjoy being a part of that performance?

Is it just me, or do others get surprised every time they see how tall Adam is? He just looks average on his own, but he's usually one of the biggest guys in the room.
He's 6'2". He's not average in any context.

This is just like Freshman line dancing in high school. I was the only one, it seemed, that was the most enthusiastic about the dance unit. So Adam and I have something in common ;)
season 8 was awesome loved watching every week.
nobody told Adam about sunglasses till it was too late so he went without one..i remember hearing in one interview.

I LOVED this season! Even the ones I didn't like made it a good season, if that makes any sense. Perfect blend of people for every emotion ;-)
I thought this was so great! The best group performance on the show, ever, and that's because Paula choreographed it. Usually they are so cheesy. Also the song was The Jacksons, so that helps too.
Even then, early on, you can hear the extra squeals of delight from the audience when Adam's turn comes...

Is it just me, or does Adam look like he is directing the others all through the dance? At the beginning he seems to tell Lil when to move and he points to Matt, he gets to twirl Paula, he is the last to come across the stage while the others sat and waited, he seems to start doing the leg movements first etc. He is center stage during the whole routine. Kris also did a good job.

During season 7 I was just pissed that Adam didn't win...but now as I watch these videos I see that Kris is pretty talented and so very sexy
Why are Adam Lambert fans so annoyingly self righteous about him? It doesn't hurt him to recognize other people's talents you know. He's not the only one who can dance and he's not the only one who could sing. It's ok to have your fave but you don't need to put others down to bring him up.
Its not that Adam's fans don't recognize other people's talent, it is that they don't understand how anyone can state that Adam doesn't have the superior technical voice and the largest range of all the singers for that season. Plus, Adam brought something different to Idol that season - STYLE! Whether you may not like his style or type of singing is of course, your opinion. But, the bottom line is that Adam does have the superior voice and was the most versatile singer.

I often wonder, if Adam wasnt on this season would everyone been so on their game and as good? I think not..I believe that Adams presence motivated what other contestants did and how they did it..thats why so many new things, such as the dancing, and the guest mentors.such as Slash and Jaime Fox. I believe that Adam indirectly influenced how the whole show was presented and why they were able to get rhe big names to go on the show// its just my opinion..
They had big names guest mentor long before Adam came onto American Idol. For example, I remember Elton John, Dolly Parton, and Diana Ross, just to name a few icons, mentored before this season.
@@loveanimals6981 however, the group spoke about how Adam was the one they looked to for guidance. It was evident on the AI Tour who was the leader in every way..

adam was the only one smiling throughout the routine because he was the only one comfortable performing like that. that's the difference between being a pro ready for a career and an amature trying to get ready.
and winning doesn't = better. Kris is very talented and deserved to win as much as Adam and/or Allison.

@MattGiraudFanatic haha are you still rooting for matt, mate newsflash the show ended almost 3 years ago, adam has gone on to become a music phenonomena, and matt's probably struggling to sing to a few thousand people. Oh btw refresh my memory where did matt finish and where did adam finish? Oh yeh thats right, now I remember adam stealing the show on the finalie with change is gonna come, while matt just sat their. Oh and who wan an mma last year for best video? Adams vocals rocked in this btw.

This was probably the only group that could pull this off. They're all really good dancers, except Matt :)
Matt (along with Lil Rounds) is actually the best dancer of the group -- he moves really well... very naturally. This would probably explain why Paula put him and Lil up front at the end of the number.
Their placement in the group has nothing to do with their dancing ability. If you notice the alignment in the back row they have the two tallest people, Anoop and Adam in middle and the two shortest on the ends. It all about the aesthetic setup of the group and what grouping looked the best according to their heights. Look closely at Matt and you'll see that he doesn't even complete some of the movements like all the others do.
I don't concur. Yes, I noticed Matt's dancing wasn't flawless but, again, I still think he moves better and more naturally than the other guys. Some would maybe say Adam is the best dancer, but his moves are like he's trying too hard... too much effort. Unlike Matt, who, again just moves in a more natural fashion. Also, if Paula was trying to group the tallest in the back middle, she could have put Matt there as I think he may actually be the tallest (or about equal with Adam and Anoop, anyway). If you look, some of the dance moves of the guys in the back at the end the number, are pretty bad... they just don't flow well or very smoothly.
Anoop is 6'2", Adam is 6'1", Danny 5'10", and Kris Allen is 5'6". I looked at many pictures and Matt never appears taller than Adam or Anoop, He looks close in height to Danny or maybe a little taller. I couldn't find Matt's height listed anywhere. To review the dancing again, there was one instance where Matt was off step and I seriously don't see the flow or natural movement that you state Matt has. Evidently, Matt is your favorite and that is great - no problem. I wish Matt continued success.
To the detractors on Matt's dancing abilities, I guess that we can just agree to disagree.
