BADASS LOVE IT
Robb's guitar playing is so underrated. I feel his vocals already stand for themselves. His metal voice to me is the perfect mix of hard as fuck but you still understand every word and is instantly recognizable. But the guy never gets the credit enough for his guitar playing. He plays all these riffs. Fuck he writes most of them. He plays all machine heads riffs. While fucking singing. I consider myself above average at guitar. Try playing Clenching, Aesthetics, Wolves, Anything on locust album or bloodstone. Even imperium. Try playing just any of those on guitar by yourself in your living room. Fucking impossible. This guy shreds that shit live doesn't miss a note while singing and pumping up the crowd. You can prefer whatever era of the band. But Robb is Machine Head. Machine Head should be up there with Metallica and Maiden.

Unfortunately, Rob decided to go full social justice crusader and it reflects in the “music”. If he’d just stick to playing heavy music and not trying to save the world with his nonsensical musical public service announcements, maybe they could be good again one day.
