SIr thank You, now i understand much more when it comes to modeling. And it looks that the problem i have always had was not applaying the scale. I had to began again so many times. Cheers from Poland and looking for more videos!
I really enjoyed all the detailed explanation you go into this tutorial I only know one other content creator who does the same so truly appreciate your style. My one question is the measurements and using the advance tool like you did those measurements and figures how did you come to them were you working from a plan or something you can share with us so the method you use sinks in more. Again thank you for a great tutorial
Thank you, I appreciate it and I'm glad you found it helpful. To (hopefully) answer your question: The finished length and width of both table and benches were established in discussions with the client to get a perfect fit for their patio, the heights to fit them, as they're tall people. From there working with standardized material dimensions like thickness of the planks (38mm or 1.5in) and the legs gave me the measurements after calculating the fit. The steel contractor suggested the dimensions for the frame parts. I'll make a note for next time to maybe include a plan or sketch in the tutorial. I hope this clears things up a bit.
@@SFE-Viz Thank you for the information I appreciate your fast reply I will be looking forward to your future content again it has been very informative
Do you mean on the vertical plates at 16:20? Booleans can be hard to troubleshoot. Of the bat I'd try to edge slide the supporting edge loops individually with g+g until they visually don't overlap with vertices on the holes anymore. Also double check if the boolean modifier is above the bevel and in the bevel modifier under geometry try to toggle clamp overlap on and off, see if that works. And the classic: in edit mode on the plate press A to select everything and M -> "merge by distance" to make sure no double vertices found their way into the model. They're pesky sometimes :)

Happy you enjoy the content. Applying the scale is something I can't stress enough and I have to remind myself of it again every once in a while.

The part where you shift select and alt shift select the two edges in order to restore the bevel doesn't seem to be working for me (Mac os)
