    As a plus size crocheter, i totally unterstand allllll of the problems with the little-lady patterns. Especially, finding a cup crochet pattern holds the babies is such a nightmare. I really would like to know if your other cup project is a success. Thanks for your video 🌷

    It soothes my soul somehow to see a plus size person making crochet content. So many skinny people making things I can't wear :( But you're out here and it's wonderful and I'm definitely stealing some project ideas from you!

    So happy to see another plus size crocheter we need more diversity in the community that's a huge reason I started my channel back up. Weaving in the ends is the worst and lining bags takes forever, I have only lined 2 bags so far but they took a long time.

    • @jazbeth

    I’ve been crocheting for about a year now and I’ve been in a slump lately because I cannot find any plus sized patterns that I haven’t made, which btw I have not made many. The crochet community is weirdly not very size inclusive and it’s very upsetting. I’m glad to see other plus sized crocheters and if you have any more size inclusive patterns, especially for big boobs, please comment them below!

    As mainly a bag crocheter, i think the type of yarn one uses really affects the end result of the bag. If you use acrylic yarn then it will definitely stretch, so when i use it i usually make the bag smaller with the intention of stretching it out and mainly use single crochet since they make the best stitch for bags (imo). I think synthetic yarn (as in legit plastic yarn) as well as t-shirt yarn are the best for bags, but often end up looking unfinished because people don’t know how to work with them. Luckily i got the opportunity to join a crochet class. Anyways, my point being that crochet bags are tricky lol. Have a good day! Lovely video

    • @jazbeth
      @jazbeth  Год назад +1

      that’s definitely true and i am just too lazy with single crochets ahahah! i’ve also seen lots of people using old plastic bags and t-shirt yarn so i guess it generally would be sturdier! thanku for watching!🫶🏼

    You're not alone. I hate single crochet too. I learned crochet during pandemic too. My struggle is getting the right or suitable yarn for projects. And where I came, there's only one physical store, which is Spotlight where I can touch and feel the yarn. Other than that, just online shopping.

    If you didn't use cotton for your bags, use that instead. Other choices are linen or nylon if you can find those.

  • @patricebarfield307
    @patricebarfield307 3 месяца назад

    Try using a cotton yarn, it won't stretch out of shape.
