Lookin good brother. I just got the new one you mentioned in the video. Can’t wait to break it in. Hibachi will be thrown on there to set the tone for future grilling. Go pack go!!!
Using the same spatula on that beef right after using it on the chicken... And you rested it on the veggies. Might want to keep those utensils separate until that chicken is up to safe temp. Looks tasty but be safe.
um.... that's an ancient secret family recipe soooo.... lol, just kidding. Let me ask the wifey and I'll post it on here for ya. Thanks so much for watching!
I’m building an insert for a 28”like yours I’m taking the legs off I’m trying to find out the exact height without the legs and is it 44.5 long and 19.5 depth
I'd go out and measure it for you but we already found a good new home for the 28" since we upgraded to the 36". Thanks so much for watching! I love the idea of building an enclosure for it. Keep us posted!
Think about getting one for my wife she want the 28 but I see the 36 is it important to get the bigger and i see they have a new design is it important
For sure. I took it to work and cooked for over 75 people in one morning... it didnt miss a beat! I have another blackstone video dropping tomorrow, make sure and check it out. Thanks for watching, dont forget to subscribe!
Question, what was you’re flam setting while cooking? I ask because where I live can be a little windy, I’ve heard that could cause some issues with temperature.
Wind definitely can impact temperature. I notice on windy days it does take longer for the temp to rise. I believe Blackstone actually sells wind blockers as an accessory
I think it would be fine. Kind of like using a gas grill in the winter. If you store it in your garage and just take it out when you're going to use it. Also the top plate is removable. I'm originally from Wisconson so I know the winters are brutal. Thanks so much for watching!

Riceland extra long grain rice. I dont rinse the starch but I do cook the rice and let it completely cool in the fridge before cooking it on the blackstone. Usually the day before. Thanks so much for watching!
1 cup Mayo,2 tbls ketchup, 1 tbls sugar, 1/2 tbls paprika, 2 tsp garlic powder and a little water as needed. mix until smooth, fridge for an hour before serving. Sorry for the SUUUUPER late response. Thanks so much for watching!
Obv I’m 5+ yrs late….but PLEASE!….Put the protein down & leave it alone so it sears. It won’t sear if it doesn’t have enough contact time with the griddle surface.
nice video, this is actually teppanyaki cooking. hibachi is cooked over open flames, usually a charcoal grill
Interesting distinction! I was unaware. Thanks so much for watching!
I have a 28 Blackstone Griddle also we did a hibachi night and let me tell y’all we are the envy of all our neighbors, I just wish it had a lid
That's awesome! It's become a regular rotation menu item in our house now. The Fam loves it. Thanks so much for watching!
tyra nelson you can buy the lid separately if yours didn’t come with one! If you google it, you will find. Might be on Blackstone website as well.
Lookin' great old man! Welcome to the griddle club.
I love it! Thanks so much for watching!
I purchased the same one and sold my 22 inch blackstone . Big difference having the 28 inch

So what kind of oil do you use to start?? Also the food looks amazing!! 🔥🔥🔥
I use good ol' vegetable oil or corn oil to start out. For the hibachi specifically I use sesame seed oil. Thanks so much for watching!
