Please also watch my BAS.MY Melaka Bus Service M12 journey from Melaka Sentral Bus Terminal to Malacca International Airport! ruclips.net/video/_lXRRBRVK44/видео.html BAS.MY Melaka Bus Service M12 operates as a trunk-feeder bus service within Melaka city, connecting various key locations. The route begins and ends at Melaka Sentral, making a pinched loop through significant points in Melaka such as AEON Mall Bandaraya Melaka, Plaza Hang Tuah, and Batu Berendam, before serving the surrounding residential areas around Malacca International Airport, and finally terminating at Malacca International Airport.
Hopefully more airlines can start service to Melaka Airport and KLIA espically international carriers and cant wait for more plane train and bus trip reports from you on RUclips and your website and when does KTMB start ETS from Segamat

Im hoping to see more planes coming in to melaka so tat i can travel to bandung, jakarta n even penang. Common CM pls upgrade the batu berendam airport, the traffic jem in Melaka is getting worst n terrible!
*Take cab from home to Changi airport.* *Check In* *Fly* *Disembark plane* *Clear immigration* *Go to Hotel* *How long does all this hassle will take...???* *I wud rather just take a bus... using highway... it wud be about 3hrs to reach Malacca from Singapore.*
Actually the total time travel by bus and flight is about the same, however if u count in 2 - 3 hours jam at custom during holidays, then the flight win.
Great, more planes are coming which is good but still rail transport is much needed. If only our nation hasn't become a car centric country, reaching Malacca by train would be possible.
Reaching Malacca by rail is possible as Malacca is served by two railway stations; Pulau Sebang right at the border with Tampin (N9) in Alor Gajah and Batang Melaka in Jasin right at the border with Gemencheh (N9). However there is no direct rail service to Malacca City ever since the tracks are dismantled by the Japanese for the Death Railway during World War 2. Passengers heading to Malacca City must alight at either Pulau Sebang or Batang Melaka. From Pulau Sebang and Batang Melaka, you have two options to continue your journey to Malacca City: 1. Change to SBST / BasMY Melaka M20 route for Pulau Sebang-Melaka Sentral or T30 route for Btg Melaka-Melaka Sentral Payment available by cash or ManjaLink card as it's operated by Causeway Link. This is the only direct public transportation method available from those railway stations to Malacca City. 2. Book a taxi or e-hailing service to Malacca City. An option which is car-centric and generally more expensive than taking the bus.
Good that we now have options rather then Air Asia. Scoot will start to chip away Air Asia's dominance. Air Asia ni dah take it for granted that domestic belongs to them. Good, it gives healthy competition
Peninsular Bolehland is such a tiny place. Focus and invest in rail transport. Dont be lazy looking for shortcuts. Kuantan also sometimes have to take flights because of hopeless jams.
The flight is not for you. The flight is for foreign workers returning to their home country, now they don't need to go to KLIA. They can fly to Singapore and from there fly to another place

It might be bad for the environment, but if such a route does operate one day, I'm sure it will be fully booked on weekends and holidays for those who wish to skip the jams.
actually in US and Europe there are a lot more short flights.. thats why in US and Europe you can see more small planes such as the CRJ, Embraer, ATR being used than in this region
There were steps in between which were overly summarised. I wasn't going to film the staff for the check-in process. Anyway, I was only travelling with a small sling bag with no check-in bags, so it should have been much faster than 6 minutes, especially when there were no queues, and I mainly needed a boarding pass printed. As you could see in the video, the queues quickly built up within 6 minutes. There are 112 seats on board the E2, so assuming it's a full flight, and if 1 passenger takes 6 minutes at 1 counter, with 3 counters available, the total check-in time would take 3 hours and 44 minutes, assuming all passengers was there at the same time. Do also remember that check-in closes 60 minutes before departure time. Using this logic and speed, for a 3.50pm flight from Melaka to Singapore, check-in will have to open and start at about 11am to cater to all passengers on board the small E2 plane.
Wow, 6 minutes to print one boarding pass in Malacca? Scoot is testing our patience, man! In Singapore, this would be a mere blink-and-you-miss-it moment. Over here, 2-3 minutes tops, and that’s with a crowd! Guess Malacca’s practicing the art of slow travel, huh?
