As one of if not the most well-regarded show in its genre, it's hardly underrated - it's just too old for most kids nowadays to know about it, same as Azumanga was until the random surge of meme popularity it received recently
@@invader_jim2837 I mean even then it's just a matter of the series getting old - there's plenty of great stuff no one really talks about just cuz it's not recent

Nichijou is basically the Regular Show of Japan. "Nichijou" even translates into "Daily Life," while exaggerating it far beyond normalcy. Just like how "Regular Show" takes the most "regular" stuff and cranks it up to 100.
Ah the golden days of anime. No looking up skirts, no big boobs. Just the insanity that is Nichijou. Edit: Just so we are clear, I said that I retract what my original statement is.
@@buckaryndowhat golden days? I watched a lot of anime over the years. For every acchi kocchi( a slapstick comedy with romance) there's a happy sugar life(if Yuno Gasai was a lolicon), for every kill me baby( a comedy about a hitman school girl and her normal friend) there's a school days(a dude protagonist gets killed cause he's a hoe), for every Welcome to Demon School(a comedy about demons) there's a High School DxD(a show about quadruple D demons). I watched Rosario Vampire like 10 years ago and that show, i felt, had a ton of upskirt shots. It had so many upskirt shots one episode was about upskirt shot prevention. In like 2019, i watched a show where the plot was if a dude sees panties twice in one day the world will explode.
I'm glad this anime is underrated, I'm glad it isn't super popular and well known. The last thing we need are "normal" people trampling all over this masterpiece. Let's just keep it a secret and keep it to ourselves. ❤

Literally, all the first episode as well
One of the few anime that had me laughing to tears. It's not perfect, but none are. Wish it had gotten another season.
The back ground music is very fitting in this clip

reminds me of Azumanga Diaoh, but if the energy of Tomo was in EVERY character. Wasn't convinced to watch more than 2 eps imo. It's not for me.
