Yucca potting soil mix:
X2 potting soils
X1 Sweet sand
X1 perlite
Some little of coco peat
Please do not compress the soil to Ensure the water get drained very well not harm or rot the roots.

i have the same plant which died due to overwatering . but its still black on top

I think that the pot is too large.
