Harvest Right: Software Update 5.2.23 Candy Mode

In this segment we’re doing our software update to the latest version that includes a candy mode for quick, high heat, freeze drying action. The new version is 5.2.23 and only took about 5 minutes to update.

I had the version that you could bi pass the cooling chamber, and go straight to freeze, where you could bypass that as well by hitting the leaf. I am thinking I will go back to that mode because I don't want to cool the chamber just yo heat it up again. 15 mins is precious.

The cooling chamber loses most of its temperature when you open it up to load the trays. What’s important is to put your food in frozen.

@@johnarbuckle1503 any version prior to the new update should allow you to bypass the cooling chamber, just hit the leaf after you hit start. It should then give you the option of skipping.

I can't get mine from 5.1 to 5.2

We just got ours and it’s version 5.4.23 we did all the steps and it still doesn’t give me the candy mode feature. Idk what we’re doing wrong

Turn your dry temp up to 145 I think will do the trick. Do you know where that is in the settings?

No, candy(most) is a simple matter of heat and vacuum. Before, when we would piggyback candy after a normal run…there was never any freezing involved.
