I am an old rocker from the eighties, and at 51 years old, this band makes me want to turn back time, grow out my hair again and hit the streets cruising with music like this jamming at full volume on the way to a gig!!! Been watching these guys on you tube over here in America and I can't say enough....Crazy Lixx rocks....straight up ROCKS!!! Nuff said!!! Way to go boys!!!

I'm a middle aged guy. It's a great pleasure to note that the party did not end in 1989 and that the younger generation manages to keep the flag high. That's very satisfactory.
Besides their epic musicianship, what I love about Crazy Lixx is how they fully embrace the '80's rocker image. This band is no pretender though. Had they been able to come out in the '80's with their songs, they would have been as big as any other memorable bands from that decade!
It's tempting to say that this is just like what 80's bands sounded like, but this is actually what 80's bands wished they sounded like. A subtle distinction.
That's a very accurate observation of the 80s revival movement. Synthwave is another example. These guys are basically taking the 80s and amplifying the shit out of it for modern times.
This is pretty much the direction that the 80's metal bands were heading in the early 90's when grunge killed them. Bands like Crazy Lixx, Kissin' Dynamite, Dynazty etc, just took the baton from there and ran with it.

yeah many of these bands avoid the filler songs even that were on the classic albums. H.E.A.T II for example to me was the perfect album all killer no filler that would be on many of the bands they emulate!

This is basically perfect 80s movie soundtrack material.
Their songwriting has greatly progressed. I think this new album is finally on-par with the 80's early 90's glam metal band albums in terms of production, songwriting, musicianship etc.

What a song. This album's for sure going to be a contender for best rock album of the year. First Eclipse, next Crazy Lixx. This one's much heavier and a higher tempo, with a shredding solo too. I like that Isabella featured again as well - she's a beautiful lady.

That drum intro.... 10 seconds into the song you know it is going to be badass. Between this and Anthem for America, Street Lethal is on track to be their best album yet. Can't wait!! US radio sucks, they never give any cred to new rock or metal bands anymore. If it weren't for Frontiers Music, bands like Crazy Lixx wouldn't be able to get the exposure that they do get. The "shattered mirror" guitar is something I haven't seen before. Very unique, I like it.
One of Paul Stanley's guitars is a shattered mirror like that. Never seen it on a bass guitar though!
