Lorewise, it makes sense that Nod would lose to SC2 Terrans. CnC factions are still in very early stages of space travel that Sc2 Terrans can do easily. In fact, SC2 Terrans is like a perfect combination of GDI and Nod's best parts.
Idk lore wise Nod's approach to war is never straightforward. The first Tib war was a propaganda war and tech rush, second was a mass surprise attack with chemical weapons and a focus on bringing down GDI's missile defenses, and the third was a repeat surprise attack meant as faint so they can do a shoot and loot. Nod was always more successful in the interwsr periods (so long as Kane or one of his chosen was in charge)
C&C isn't really consistent when in comes to tech. Even RA2 was outlandish with it. In one, you have something that more or less work in a real life setting, like in Red Alert 1 and Tiberian Dawn. In the next, you have weaponized time travel and walkers straight out of Star Wars. If you go by C&C3 and C&C:TT, Humanity should be able to go to the stars by this point. They have the Tech to make workable spacecraft and the Tacitus to continue getting data from, as well a treasure trove of Scrin Tech lying around after C&C3. RA3 shows a Japan already using advanced nanotech, mechs, laser weaponry, hover technology, psychics, and other assorted technology and is still in the _70s,_ same as RA2, since the game start right after the events of RA2.
@@revanlord05 not really C&C has always been pretty good about consistency in tech given most of the insane and really cool tech is either consistently used or ou have a reason for why they don't have it anymore meanwhile red alert3 reads to me like time is breaking since einsteins gone but the tanks and towers he designed are still around sooo that has to mean that time can't forget about him completly meaning yeah something is just wrong also sc has a worse version of the problem infestation cannot be cured infestation has been cured 5 different ways and both statements are true according to blizzard

I believe C&C4 units ruin NOD completely (well, and all C&C but I digress). The focus on Leviathan (an unit that should have never existed) is not good for the faction. Also, having burrowing Scorpion Tanks instead of Tick Tanks seems like a missed opportunity. Lastly, I think it's *INSULTING* to call the unit "Motorcycle" instead of "Recon Bike" or "Attack Bike". On the plus side, Stealth Tank is on point (although it may have too much range) Don't get me wrong, I appreciate C&C getting the love from the fans that it never got from EA. I just... don't like some choices.
about armor upgrades, looking at stats it seems like all factions have their armor/weapon upgrades disabled, probably because in CnC there is no armor/armor upgrades, apart from technology upgrades
They could add various new models from other game and it will still work using the normal game launcher and still the mass recall mod is not available without external installation
Redeemer in this mod doesn't do justice to source material. In C&C epic units are immune to all forms of mind control and drastically reduce the duration of any other debuff precisely for that reason - they're a giant turn-off switch magnet, and there's nothing you can really do to "outplay" your opponent left clicking your expensive epic unit and halving your combat potential.
@@ALEXZANDER_YT ironically I keep pointing to the CnC:Rivals mobile game, the Nod units in that are actually all pretty good concepts wasted on that game. But they'd have to have their ranges and stats adjusted of course, but overall that version of the Tick tank, and most the other Nod units there would be pretty devastating and allow for more of the Nod "hit and fade" approach to war.
@@codyraugh6599rivals is fun to play, just the micro transaction design that is terrible and made it completely pay to win, but yeah nod there is good and all the units can be placed somewhere either in the old games or lore (except for phantom which is just the firehawk from c&c3) but basically Nod is not meant to have air superiority or even have big air units, c&c4 is a joke of a game

Wonder when the GDI will show up. And I just noticed something at 13:44 - when the Purifiers are killed, their unit husk is the Avatar instead. The Purifier Mech is a predecessor to the Avatar Mech, but what's interesting is the unit husk being used is the Avatar from the next game over; Tiberian Twilight. The original Avatar from Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath looks just like the Purifier but doesn't come with the flamethrower default - instead it can salvage upgrades from other Brotherhood units. *Also they are the Brotherhood of Nod, or just Nod, not "The NOD"
Those NOD missile pods... is it just me or they didnt fire at all ? I rewatch the part with the battlecruisers taking them on and they didnt do anything. Do they need to be manned, or somehow activated ? If not then its a bug and should be reported to the mod creator. I cant get over those ugly infantry models for NOD. Why oh why would you use those from CnC Tiberium 4 instead of Tiberium 3 which was the superior product. They look to goofy and low poly when put next to the vanilla or even any of the other new modded factions. Either way hope we can see the how NOD fares against Protos and Zerg soon!
I’ll have to rewatch it myself! As far as I know the mod is still being worked on and is in alpha. Seeing this faction face off against Zerg next would be awesome! I’m gonna keep an eye out for replays

So far I think this is the only one so far, but there’s also the C&D mod which is command and conquer inspired but plays more like its own game
Why twilight? Why not Wars or Wrath?
The best course for this terran player is to go ghost w/ nukes and battlecruisers

This Nod has the strongest blackhand unit and thoses air unit doesn't exist in C&C3.
Because this Nod faction is mix of C&C 3 and C&C4
