Stay away from Rockville subs
What type of speaker is that
lkjyuiop the destroyers aren’t bad
But the TXX-APC-12 has 96db sensitivity compared to this one's 88db. So, more output with less input.
Can this take 1500 RMS? If so I want 2
Which sub would be better for a 1ohm amplifier One ohm sub or two ohm sub? Does anyone know?
Why does their website suck so bad I looked at these subs just to have a budget build
do you have the txx-bd4 dealer series that comes with the 4" voice coil?
SWEET!!!

Hello I have just purchased two of these and I am excited. What’s the best box for them ? I will be powering them with 2200 1d for each sub , but I don’t know what box ? I could build one but what’s the necessary cubic ft per sub and should it be ported or not. Thanks in advance , love your videos
Yes port the box
Plus the subs come with manuals just look on them
Why did you skip taking it out the box
Xmax?
I have a TXX-bd4-15D2 sub... I love it, but I can't get much lower than 25Hz very loud. is it just the box? or would I need a better sub? my box is 3ft^3 ported, tuned at 35Hz and my subsonic filter is at around 10Hz on the APCLE18001d. Thanks!
It's your box bro get something a lil bigger they can tune it lower and you'll get deeper base
jcMarcell yea, I’m going to try to get a new box. It ended up cracking the glue on the triple joint... from playing to low for the box tuning lol. So yea I’ll be doing that.
I got two bd4 15 d4 and i got them in cheap ported prefab thats like 2cft per chamber but it's the size bro because the 15s need like 3+ cubic feet each. I need a custom but I ain't got all that money like 250-300
@@THESUBZILLA it's funny you mention that too cause mine rattles a bit because of one if the wooden pieces that forms the vent is cracked loose
@@jcMarcell oh yea, I'm talking about the triple joint in the subwoofer itself, it ripped the tinsel leads so I'm working with audiopipe to try to get a replacement, but it's taking a while. and yea I got a quote on a custom box tuned to 25Hz for a zv5 15" sub, and they wanted 600$! I was like that's too much. but if space is not a problem, you can find pre-built custom boxes that are really good for about 260$, it's still a bit expensive but remember the box is whats giving the subwoofer the ability to make sound.
American bass xfl 12 is better and cheaper
@Bill L Audiopipe bd4 12 is better and has thicker bigger surround, higher rms and peak wattage than American bass xfl 12
Actually its not better....the bd4 has it beat everywhere but price.
And sounds better I have had both
Which sounds better .? American Bass or AP...?
