LEGO Disney World Haunted Mansion Full Ride (Original 1971 style) - Stop Motion

This first version of the ride-through is mainly based on the ride as it was from the 70s-90s. The legendary "Webster" was, to my knowledge, never placed in the ride but I included him because I miss the old spider scene and I think he would've been a funny addition. I’m very curious about the wailing corpse tangled up in the spider’s web. Was that an effect only used for 1971 or am I just crazy?

Hi. He's nicknamed "Webster" and concept art for him exists. Whether the prop actually exists nobody knows for certain but, so the story goes, Disney World decided last minute not to install him in the Haunted Mansion for opening day (1971) because it was too scary. I put him in the video just for fun.

Amazing job! The WDW mansion is my favorite! Do you plan on doing the current version of the mansions someday ? The MC esher stairs would look awesome in lego form

Thank you friend! I will definitely be uploading other versions eventually. I will be updating the Disneyland version soon with new effects but the "Rehaunted" WDW version will take some time with all the changes involved. I agree, the escher-esque stairs will be an amazing effect in lego style.

I loved all of it. Except the corpse in the spider web was never used unfortunately. Sounds where made for it tho.

Me too.when I went there in 1995 they still didn’t have the staircase which arrived almost over years later in 2007

I know, I put him in only for the fun of it. Really wish they would add all the concept art ghosts to the rides.
