OMG I cannot tell you how helpful this video was!! So I tweaked it at the end for myself and instead of making a box/case, I just made a sleeve for my cards! Thank you so much for this video!! I am gonna utilize this video for each sleeve I make! ( I gotta make 12 sleeves in total! LOL )
This is a criminally underrated video. If you slightly modify the end couple of steps, it's absolutely perfect for a 60-80 card TCG deck with one open end.
Great video. After only watching twice, (and folding one of those times), I was able to do it without the video. However, I found that with a regular sheet of computer paper, there was not enough material left over for it fold into itself when doing the lid. No big deal, just a slight modification.
I’ve used this and my pokemon deck stayed good in it for more than 2 years! I recently had to make a newer one to replace it because it started to break and I need more space for more cards. Great video!
Thank you so much for this video!! I bought a lenormand deck and when I received it today, I realized it didn’t come with a proper box, or even a tin can to hold my cards. So immediately I thought the easiest solution would be origami. Thank you again for this thorough tutorial. Btw I love your voice 😊😊😊
Sorry. Ya, I think it depends on how smooth the surface is that I'm folding on. I've just recently become conscious of it, and I sometimes even lower the audio levels of some of my creasings and I now make sure that I fold on smooth paper surfaces. Edit: Well, I just checked this video and the Wyndstone Marble Elephant Hide paper that I'm folding on is about as smooth as it gets. So, I don't know!... Folding sharply just makes a sound some people find unpleasant, but it results in good-looking origami models! So there's the trade-off!
Wow cool model! I was concerned about paper size but I took about a 12x12 sheet of paper and lined up the cards so I could get a three times the size estimate and trimmed off one edge to make a rectangle. My cards were wider then yours but the model still worked fine.
Hi Jeremy, I'm getting frustrated on one part at the start where you wrap the paper over the deck and then you fold it back to the middle, but my cards are too big for the paper.

Hi Jeremy, I'm getting frustrated on one part at the start where you wrap the paper over the deck and then you fold it back to the middle, but my cards are too big for the paper.
