    Holly, I am glad that the laser eye surgery was a huge success to you and you got your 20:20 vision back. Will you be 20;20 vision permanently?

    Is it better to get your vision slightly overcorrected to account for the deterioration of the surgery over time?

    • @HollyGabrielle

      As I said, I was slightly overcorrected to account for any changes in my eyes that may occur over the next 20+ years before I hit the age where I may start to experience presbyopia. my clinic told me they were going to do this, so yes, it would be better to be slightly over corrected 👌🏻

    I also had Smile done last November at the same clinic (after months of researching and watching your surgery video) was totally worth it travelling 3 hours on the train from up north, i had bad short-sightedness with high astigmatism, i can now see 20/16 which is exactly were i was expected to be. I had Glenn Carp doing my surgery, he and all the staff there were beyond amazing. Post Op was good apart from the first week were i had bad light sensitivity so basically wearing sunglasses at work but after that my vision became better and after wearing glasses for 25 years i could never have imagined my vision to become this good.

      I feel the same!! I couldn’t ever imagine having better than normal vision, so I am just so happy! 👀😉
      I’m so glad you found the clinic through my videos and your experience also sounds amazing 👏🏻 Whilst my eyes weren’t sensitive to light and adjusted super quickly, I guess that just goes to show that we all experience slightly different things 🤷🏻‍♀️😌

      Everyone has different recovery times, mine lasted abit longer than normal but the end result was perfect. I went from L- -2.25,-2.25 R- -2.25, -2.75 to L- +0.25, -0.25 R- +0.25, -0.75. Which is amazing since the procedure lasted like a minute.
      I did alot of research for clinics up north where im from but i got a lot of bad vibes and was constantly ringing me for deals and thats a big red flag. When i seen your video i never thought about going to london but after researching and getting in touch i was glad i did it. Also that was my first time in london

    Did you feel the need to blink when they clamped your eyes open?

    My other half was one of those that was turned down for lazer eye surgery. He had his natural lenses replaced instead.

      ah interesting! what was the reason out of interest? and when was this? 👀

    • @PlanetImo
      @PlanetImo 10 месяцев назад

      Apparently his eyesight was just too bad to be corrected. It was the same for his son. He had worn very thick glasses/lenses previously. After having his eye lenses replaced with artificial ones, he has expereinced some glare from lights in the dark, which is a bit problematic for driving at night. @@HollyGabrielle

    Your prescription wasn’t even that bad. Would’ve been nicer if they gifted it to someone who’s prescription was really bad 🙄
