Thank you for visiting our wonderful and beautiful city. Rodeo Houston 2024 is from February 27 - March 17... so much to do can't ever fit it into one day...trail rides and cook-offs kick things off!!!
As a local, one thing that should be added about the fact that you were able to get a seat in the 300s for $40 two weeks before the shows, is only because you went to an electronica show. If people want to see a country artist, they need to be in the AXS waiting room on day on the day the tickets are released or they'll pay over $200-$1,000 if they want to sit anywhere they have a clear and close view.
Houston Livestock Rodeo BBQ Tasting (Rip-Off) One year my wife and I decided to check out what we believed was a sampling of the different BBQ from the rodeo. We paid the entry fee and walked into the area where row upon row of BBQ trailers were. We were all set to see what they had to offer. Disappointment came soon. Everyone of the BBQ wagons had a big sign “Private Party by Invitation Only”. We walked and walked going further into the line of BBQ wagons. Finally we came to one of Houston’s grocery stores that was giving samples. What did we get…. 1 piece of white bread, several slices of sausage and a little BBQ sauce on the bread. Talk about a rip off. Never again would I get suckered into the Houston BBQ Cook off. We could have taken the money we spent and went out to a nice BBQ place in town and enjoyed a meal.
There is no such thing as the Houston Livestock Rodeo BBQ Tasting. It’s a BBQ Cook-Off and no where is it advertised that you can get samples. Your ticket for the grounds gets you a BBQ Sandwich at the public tent and the free concerts on the main BBQ stage.
Would you visit? Thank you for watching!
Great video you guys and we Houstonians appreciate all the good things you’ve shown about the Rodeo,it is truly a big event.
Thank you so much!

@@TxMedic3 Never the less we won't be going out there ever again. Go to a local smaller rodeo and you will just as much fun at a much cheaper price.
