Very nice video! I am from Würzburg and i loooove the Bratwurst from Knüpfing and also a good frankonian Sauerbraten 😀 Hope you have enjoyed your trip!
Oh yes! And we are coming back in the summer. Lets make Würzburg another food destination! I will be messaging you for restaurant recommendations for sure! 🤩 locals give the best food advices ☺️
I miss Wurzburg. I’ve had bratwurst at that stand! I remember a great bakery there near the center. I had a crush on the counter girl who worked there. Alas.
Thank you for the video. Last summer I travelled from Frankfurt to Rothenburg on Tauber with a stop at Wurzburg. It is a very scenic and beautiful region. Would certainly like to to try Franconian wines and ice cream. However, pork shoulder? That is why I never visit German restaurants.
Pork Shoulder is only one dish among many more to try, so you may want to give German restaurants another go;) Plus, it is traditional only in Southern Germany. Because German food is regional, you will not often find it in Eatestern or Northern Germany.
I like your videos and content very much. I had been in Frankfurt and the food is excellent. Someone told me once to go to the Alsace and the Lorraine, that the food is excellent but I didn't had the chance to go. I guess it is quite similar to the franconian food since you share the same language, region and history. Please make a video of the food in that regions of France. Thank you.
I can't figure out where the restaurant with the schaufel mit kartoffekdossen und krautsalat that Matius went to since he was a child is located, please help.
@@cooking-the-world Thank you kindly for your reply. They have a nice website and some attractive looking modern entrées in addition to the traditional, looks good.
Just an addition to this: Here's a video about the region of #franconia, Würzburg being the capital of it. Just to let you know: ruclips.net/video/Siv3QFviPSc/видео.html
Wurzburg is one of my favorite cities in Europe. It is good that I live close to it. Cheers
Maybe you can give me some Franconian Restaurants recommendations? I really want to go back there to make another video about this wonderful city
When I was in Germany in 2019 I had the schäufele and it was soooo amazing🤤greetings from New Zealand ❤

Thanks, the tradition hasn’t changed since 2018 🤣

It's the capital of lower Franconia. Bayreuth of upper and Ansbach of middle Franconia ;)
