Yeah, that was epic as hell, but stupid, as the player would have to cover Thrall most of the time before he gets new weapons.

Sylvanas did say we are all 'nothing'. She's so powerful she undid the Maw's effect on us.
I feel like the Maw has yet to he taken seriously
Well.. If "THE MAAW" was the last raid // penultimate raid to the expansion perhaps it would feel like a dangerous and big place such as "The Firelands" or "Icecrown Citadel" or pretty much any late-stage zone/raid
What is THE MAAW though? A daily quest zone. HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY TAKE SOMETHING LIKE THAT SERIOUSLY?

@@Kyle__Katarn I've got a second grade (In my country this is the equivalent of the USA's "D grade") in literature because I created a story with this kind of build-up. Years later I never thought millions of people would buy it. Maybe I try it again, sell it to a Triple A company, and get rich. As I can see this is what they do nowadays.
From what I can gather from what I’ve see , this is gonna be very yin and yang, the jailer has a hole in his chest meanwhile the ascendant god creature is holding a bright shiny orb. Just from deducing that either this is a story about a god that split himself into good and evil and sealed both away and then evil breaks loose as it usually does. Or the light one simply took evils power and locked it away

I’ll be honest the Legion invasion felt way more threatening than this. The jailers army was very pathetic when compared to the endless demons from Legion.
Because I think in Legion they never revealed Sargeras, we only know his actions and intentions, and there wasn't any interaction with him either. all the while we were fighting his army, which alone was a feat on its own. I think they showed Jailer tok early, and showing his dailogues makes him look less threatening
They keep introducing enemies that aways are the "biggest threat EVER that will end all live if the CHAMPION OF AZEROTH DOESNT DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT"! I am sick of it and i wish that the enemy won for once like in war3 with the scourge.
@@bigger_mibber6029 yeah but if blizzard do this people Will think that their efforts didnt matter. It isnt like Warcraft 3 that we polish the Path to arthas and the scourge, we are the heroes now and If we fail we Will get frustrasted and this means lose money
@@bigger_mibber6029 Its why I love WOTLK. In the final big boss fight, we literally lose. Arthas kills the entire raid team and goes "Now I have the unstoppable army". He got the closest, and realistically without him overlooking Tyrion and Tyrion pretty much giving everything to break Frostmourne, we were fucked.

Jaina and Tyrande are kind of alike. They are powerful women who worked with the Horde against the Burning Legion. Twice. Then the Horde attacks them, taking away their loved ones. And now they both want the Horde annihilated.

Tyrande is more like Maiev or Sylvanas if anything. Funny... Tyrande slaughtered Maievs family to free a dirty criminal. Now Sylvanas slaughtered Tyrande's people to free a criminal.
have you been following the events of the game at all? Jaina wants peace now lol. She resents Sylvanas like most of the other NPCs, but she's literally working with Horde leaders to stop Sylvanas. In the cinematic after you free Baine, in response to Thrall saying "Horde, Alliance, we've come to this crossroads before. What's different this time?", Jaina makes a move on Thrall and says "we are." I would say Jaina is more keen to harboring peace between the alliance and horde than some of the other leaders, like Genn.

Somehow I'm beginning to feel like Sylvanus intends to betray the Jailer, steal his power or something, and do what she set out to do, which at first glance here seems to be freeing everyone from either the endless cycle, or the jailer, or the maw...I dunno, but it just seems to me that her intentions are never truly evil and her actions are always a means to an end.
It would be very interesting to see what happens. I just hope it's much better than the disgusting 'simply defeat the villain' troupe that Blizzard has run into the ground already at this point.

But isnt the "guy doing bad things as a means to an end" the basis for most of their villains? Sargeras wanted to stop the void lords, Arthas wanted to save his people, Illidan wanted to defend his homeland. If Sylvanas does manage to trick the jailer then that would be bad writing, because shes simply got away with everything because reasons.

At the beginning she was that cherictor. Now thou she’s going down the trop lane. She got shafted do to internal politics and a corprit take over.

There's a scene where Anduin says the Light wont abandon him, and when you rescue him, he's glowing with yellow light. Its not the quest target sparkles either.

Imagine if arthas becomes the new jailer
Arthas will obviously slay the Jailer, while Sylvanas trips on a stick. Right after Illidan teleports in the last patch to help fight as a duo. Then the titans will be so pleased that they let Arthas come back with us to be the one and only true king of Lordaeron & the Alliance. Illidan then gets to make sweet tender love with Maiev. How about them shrooms!

You know they're really strapped for ideas when we're at the point where we've had two burning legion xpacs, a return to draenor and now we're in the afterlife where Garrosh/Arthas/Uther/Kael'thas currently are.

Kinda true, I found chars like Talanji the most interesting because they're new but there's so few of them. Recycling isn't that bad if there's a point to it but not when it's recycling the recycled.

The Jailer is possible 1 of the most powerful characters we will deal with as of yet. Did we see Thrall say "I will beat the shit out of deathwing" ofc not... Its like hes a dumb orc here. And there seems no lore implication that you become primal or agressive in the maw.

Question, how do these scenes play out if you're playing on an undead character? Aren't they essentially immortal? Even if that's not the case, shouldn't the beings in the shadowlands react to those characters in a different way?

(thnak the internet?) Secondly, i find that path simply a short bonus story to what Sylvanas has planned, cuz if it was anything more, considering you know you're losing at the end, your character's story would just end..
