Hello! I’m wondering whether or not to change back to CC instead of using subtitles. What do you prefer? Please comment down below.
I have made a couple of videos ahead of time, so if I do switch to CC, know that some videos will have subtitles and others CC. I’m sorry about that.

Phenomenal edit. Love all the parallels of Thorfinn to Thors, them dropping their swords, Askeladd telling Thorfinn that he’s empty and sverkell saying that being empty means you can fit anything inside you, bro this show is so deep and I love this edit. Great work

Wow!! I love this :) That was an awesome watch. I think my favorite part was the dropping/falling sword + the sword in the ocean, such a nice touch!

I have a video idea for you. Not sure if you’re a Lord of the Rings fan, but Sam has a speech in the Two Towers about “the stories that stick with us”. I feel like you could do something nice with that, using your favorite anime and stories for visuals.

It’s very coincidental because I am currently rewatching LotR! I just finished watching the first one today 😅
I really like that speech. Maybe I could work with that once I’ve finished watching more anime. I’m also thinking about making edits of live action movies and series in the future, so maybe I’ll just make one of LotR? Either way, that’s a great idea!

I’m so impressed with the quality of these edits!!! Vinland is my favorite series, but it’s near impossible to find good fan content. It’s far easier to make flashy fight compilations than to take the time to weave together the themes and messages of a series. It’s reminding me of Zurik’s (Anime Room) edits in the best ways!

great choice of font subtitles, it gives it a 'viking' feel, also how do u erase the subs? Do you download dub and then match the audio orrrr...
Thanks! The episodes I use are in Japanese but without subtitles, so I don’t erase anything!
what an amazing edit, a great capture of the internal logic of Thorfinn's character transformation
to me it was truly perfect up until 3:44.
i feel like the transtion between "We just met today" and "I have no enemy" is too rough and lacks a bit of development. Is that because you were constrained by the audio ?
other than that, thank you for your work, i really enjoyed it
