The most impressive part of this performance is that the Bouncer was such a professional. He let Eugene sit on his shoulder, held his belt in the back while he leaned over, and all the while just kept his cool! That’s legendary shit right there folks.
such a criminally underrated band. so amazing live.
Heck they sellout every city they play in The States, and they ain't cheap.

I saw them at Reading festival in the mid 2000's, had never heard of them before that and I can honestly say they were absolutely amazing and easily the best of weekend.
I'm pretty sure my goal in life is to see them live.

The energy of the audience. I was blessed when my oldest daughter got me tickets a few years back and my 22 year old didn’t mind going with 50+ monto a concert
I've known this band since I met her at a concert when I was in Budapest. Gogol Bordello is the example of vindication of the gypsy, without excluding the creative contribution of artists from other parts of the world.
Eugene is so damn charismatic. And that violin!

I watched them on the beach in Japan in 2010. We jumped so hard and I ripped my shoes without even realising it. It was one of my best concert experience and I've been to loads of them.

This reminds me of seeing them at 9:30 Club in DC when I was in the military. That place would be PACKED full, and if you dared to venture up to the front, you were basically guaranteed a spit of wine in the face from Eugene.
To this date, of my top 5 shows, Gogol at 9:30 put on 3 of them!

A year ago or so, my son went a great distance to see these guys in concert, and came back not so much raving as marveling at how interesting the music and the presentation were. We found this clip, and others, here on YT, and I researched the band online:
How stunned I was to find out that one of the band-members was Boris Pelekh, who had been in one of my classes at the Hogwarts of Music in Boston, back in the late '80's/early '90's.
