Hi, I’m finding your video very helpful, thank you very much. I’m still having problems with the initial lifting up of the front wheel, i think it should be another 20 cm higher so that I can reach the balance point. Please have you got any suggestions on how to achieve that? Thanks, Gaetano
I'm getting back into MTBing after a very long time off the bike. I'm an old bugger but riding my bike makes me feel 15 again when I would be popping these tricks for fun on the way to school! :-) I'm really loving these videos and you've got a talent for teaching and explaining things in a clear and precise way. Great tips, I gotta start trying to learn to manual. I can do baby manuals to lift the wheel over small holes and stuff but not a real manual. I think my issue is mentally holding back from the fear of landing on my ass. I gotta overcome that and just go for it.
What body armour do you wear for racing enduro? I’m shopping at the moment, not sure if I should go with an all in one top half with back shoulder and elbow or just get some stand alone elbow pads.

Moustapha Baya that’s cool!! No we didn’t train for it specifically, but we do train for enduro and race mountain bikes professionally so already had a good base fitness before we started the challenge!
great video my manuals are the same as yours at 3.09. any ideas how I can get the wheel from there up higher 3.15 to the balance point as I'm really struggling to get it

How to keep the eyes up, sounds silly but i really struggle with that. Especially when trying to push and get out of the ccomfort zone.

Wheelies are far easier, take from that what you will.

The L shape is perfect, when I screw this up it is because I go diagonal and not L shaped.
Why wouldn't you just start with a wheelie?

A Low I use Leatt protection, back protector elbow pads knee pads, Bex uses poc

Locking them out will probably make it easier
locking it out will help you get better at them, even better if you have a 26" jump bike they're great for learning!
