- The 3rd time we've had the little Shrimp Outrigger above 85mph, it's an absolute missile on the water!
This video was cut short to showcase the official speed run. Hopefully, it will be a good verified saw pass run.
Wait til you see the full video. We ran multiple different brands and C Ratings & nearly lost the boat to a lipo fire. Just by luck the battery popped & didn't catch on fire. But that was previous runs before this one.

@AdamEverythingRC drove 6 hours to help me achieve this goal. We got excellent photos & footage throughout the day. Thanks to Fred for being a great teacher in this hobby. After all, he did send me this Shrimp boat kit & now it's a 91 Mph rc boat!

Very impressive, congrats! How about replacing the wedge rudder for a knife style. You could make a spray pickup for the cooling. I bet you could get close to 100mph if you had a little more room 😎

@@Scramblerkidd i told Fred I'm gonna make it or break it! Won't lifting til it passed me! It may go faster if I prep the prop & sand the hull right before the run. I'll try 1 more time before I change it up
Wonder if you can lap at that speed? You'd be getting close to the record books if so. This weekend a new outrigger record was set in cincinnati under 15 seconds in 2 laps. It was a nitro rigger. most boats for heat racing do like 14-16 seconds per lap.

@eduardonessim4499 it's a bare empty wood kit. Shrimp RC outrigger on ebay. Its come from China
Get rid of the water pickup and you will gain speed. Up the esc if needed in amps.
@@Sweetaccord it's a 120A esc. Any bigger won't fit in this configuration. I'm going to build another that's completely different inside to allow for optimum space up front

I think 100 mph is on the way , Cozy rc is doing one with narrow sponsons , With luck he can get rid of that snooty running attitude these run at, i always hate that , must scrub off some speed ?
