Hey, was wondering if you have plans to make a set calculator of some sorts? Something where you just enter the enchants and armor pieces and it tells you the final stats I feel like it would be really useful for people trying other builds who want to figure out the best set for the stats they want without getting the stuff ingame Also this video is great! Thanks for the awesome tips
something to keep in mind with this: the power stat for some goddamn reason boosts your mode, allowing people to focus more on power and still get a ton of health from the resistance mode(im getting 34% more hp with WIND resistance mode at 51 power, stuff like metal its even stronger -_-)
I feel like neglecting the Agility stat is a pretty big mistake and why the calcs are biased towards defensive builds Generally, while this is a good baseline, I feel that certain secondary stats might be better for certain builds For example, a mage with an emphasis on poison magic might want to get a ton of attack size to maximise the effect of poison clouds Or a wind mage using lots of intensity to fling people into the dark sea on a hit
Hmm my build is 50 power, 839 Defense, 62 attack Size, 60 attack speed. And imo its better, especially when Attack size and attack speed follows a logarithmic curve where it has more diminishing effect past 50. Your multiplier only takes into account power and defense hmm, other builds might have better stats in others like attack speed. 60 attack speed is about 22-24% faster speed, which means attack lands faster by that amount and lesser end-lag in between your attacks (which basically means they will connect more easily and you can use more attacks in the same timeframe) which is definitely at least 22% better pvp-wise. Comparing to your build it will just be about 6.95% less HP (1807 HP vs 1942 HP), but with 3 more power (50 Power to 47 Power) and at least 11-12% more attack speed (60 attack speed vs 24 attack speed). I suggest the bonus stat multiplier formula to further multiply by the % attack size increment and % attack speed increment as having a large attack size and faster attack speed also benefits PVP by about that much.
As an Iron Leg Warlock, I struggle to balance out my stats due to a need for attack speed (To increase my crash range and allow easier combo), and high defense with minimal [pwer. Sure it's all good as long as I can get someone into a combo, but if it's a mage who has high agility, I'm toasted. I desperately try to add more agility to my build but it's really tough to focus on multiple stats. Kinda hope I could get some pieces of advice on how to make the build a bit more viable. And no, I'm not a crystal mage
Iron leg is harsh as a main fighting style, I suggest you lower your crash into 20% for the mobility, you cannot go snake because you're a warlock unfortunately. I would suggest going into boxing or thermo instead. Ironleg is very rough to close the gap with without zerker bonuses, but be aware the smash AoE is massive, so close the gap yourself and abuse that. Can you make a video for the best gear WITH speed and bursting? Cuz those 2 are also pretty useful to a certain extent. For power and defense, the more the better. For speed and bursting, more is better but at a certain point, having more of this isn't as useful anymore. For example you don't need an attack that fires instantly. And you don't need an attack that hits an entire island either. But still you should include speed and bursting. Cuz this video totally ignores them.
im a glass/acid mage with 96 power, 409 def, 32 atk size, 56 intensity, and 32 agility, so i get where your comming from i use argos chest and legs with strong enchant (you can replace this with amplified if you are fine with sacrificng 7-14 power in exchange for about 10 extra inensity per, the nuclear option being changing your amulet however) my accessories are a strong power amulet fair (you could make this amplified instead for a trade off of -7 power and then +18 intensity) and then a strong king calvus cape and crown hope this helps
since I use acid conjurer instead of power I went intensity up the ass, my puddles are massive and acid sticks for a long time, sure I won't one shot you but hey i just need to wait for a bit
it actually does matter. glass cannon users dont know that they get not even double damage for the same amount of health, while this build almost doubles your health and slightly increases damage. obviously the time to kill is longer but you wont die in 2 sec
I have 90 power and 1.6k health my Q move does 300 damage without charging it and my beams do over 200. My pulsar does about 1000 to non moving targets but you will always receive at least 400-600 damage from it even if you get out ( it does 200 per pulse at 0.5 pulse speed) and I have 2.1k health if I use magic aura defence
Whilst I can’t deny that this is an extremely good build, I still feel like there might be some exceptions but not by armor, but by magic. Heavier magics like metal and earth are capable of out putting insane damage with power to the point where a max power pulsar does 174 damage per pulse without power aura. Also, normal shots at max attack size alone do up to 400 damage with bleed. So whilst I would recommend this build to literally every magic in the game, if you’re someone using something really heavy I would still recommend the glass cannon power build due to how invaluable that extra damage is.
glass cannon has so little hp that the extra damage does not matter. 1942 hp is double the player's original health and a bit of power while glass cannon doesnt even double the power, much less give health
@@myaltaccountsthis the thing is, with how much it does plus bleed (assuming you’re using metal) it does. Let’s assume you’re running mage with glass cannon and use a pulsar with power aura. Your pulsar has a good chance of hitting at least 3 times if you are trying to min max damage and how easy it is to hit multiple times. That alone will do over 600 damage (for me the pulsar does 205 damage per pulse) plus bleed. The explosions at 40% (still huge with metal) with aura will do around 289 with bleed. And the beam with two lines and smallest blast size does upwards of 400. This damage against another glass cannon build CANNOT be beat unless they are incredibly good at both dodging and parrying or using the same magic. Now let’s compare it to this build with a magic that’s not metal. A fire pulsar with the best damage+times hit will probably do around 67 (or lower) with burn and aura and will hit 3 times. The explosions that are not ult art will do probably 157 with aura plus burn. And the beam will do close to 200 or higher. Now let’s do the math here. 986 hp will be fully drained with 14 pulsar hits and burn. With explosions, it will be 12 or maybe 13 times plus burn. And with beam it’ll be 5 times maybe 4 with burn. Let’s compare this build now: 1956 (or however much else it’s close to the number I don’t remember the exact amount) will be fully drained with 9 pulsar pulses plus bleed. Around 6 explosions with bleed to kill. And lastly the beam will be 4 times with bleed. I know this math isn’t exactly correct but these damage differences are so far apart that it’ll be very minor. If there is a medium weight magic that does more damage then fire then please tell me and I’ll redo what I did but it’s hard to say that this build beats glass cannon unless you’re using any medium to light weight magic. Also, feel free to double check my math and point out my mistakes so I can fix them later since the only 4 magics I have experience with are metal, fire, magma, and ice.
Power goes up every lvl, elements have a damage multiplier and items can increase damage. We can use these variables and do some equations, you can a video explaining this.
I think it's got something to do with the percentages, your power doesn't go up by flat 1 every level, but instead increases with a set percentage, which I do not know
@@Zeemkoplug it buffs things like environment changes(acid puddles, electrified puddles, etc), DoT duration, aura strength(aka higher intensity will increase the power of your aura), reduce ultimate art cooldowns, etc. The big thing for me is that aura buffer, if the 1.12 nerfs go through, both power and resistance auras are getting a 5% nerf, but if u have high intensity, that gets mitigated, or even ignored entirely.
I'm still confused on how more defense is better. Wouldn't be there a point where more defense is practically useless, and should be instead invested in power?
the issue with this is its not viable to surprise attack people in group fights or catch people off guard with anything less than 70 power for most builds. this is only good for 1v1s where you trade hits.
Well we would have to wait for that buff till a decision like that is made. There were speculations that it will definitely get a buff we just dont know what that buff is yet. For now sunken helmet is not as viable as the other options but its a good one if you dont have better defense accessory
@@rogue4876 so im assuming if it gets a defense buff then it will be used to replace the defense accessory as long as it is better than a boss defense accessory
@@fire_dragonhd9105 well i just read the patch notes and sunken helm is getting a defense buff as well as an attack size buff but almost every other piece of boss armor including the sunken armor and leggings and getting a nerf. Quick note though to answer what youre saying but in the update yeah the sunken helm will provide better defense than the cernyx faulds if thats the defense accessory youre talking about
How would magic damage multipliers (for example) work with this though? Since some magics can essentially just buff there own damage (such as metal and earth) but like in the case of earth would require a power heavy build which is generally less effecient, though with the extra damage could it be overall more powerful than the build you showed in this video? That's just an example though cus there's a bunch of different magics. So could you change this to take different weapons and magics effects into account or something like that? 😁👍
in wom really early on, pow from armor used to not be affected by magic damage multiplier (so light was op) but now, it is. that means every magic is affected the same by pow (its just that the multiplier will affect the end damage. all the magics will scale the same)
@@myaltaccountsthis yea but what i mean is that for example earth gets a 10% damage buff whilst metal gets a 5% so would a power heavy build with a 10% buff be stronger than metal with the build you showed? i basically just wanna know how i can calculate it for every magic
While this may be the best build in theory, it doesn't account for the fact that if you're a max power mage, you're able to one shot people before they can react, which is something not possible for a build with 47 power. Your build is theoretically the best in a situation where you and your opponent are the same skill level and are having a fair 1v1, however that's pretty much never the case.

I’ve got a Juggernaut build that I’ve been trying to make a viable armor set for. Does the website take into account the damage loss from Vitality? If it doesn’t, how much Power would I need to mitigate the effects of it?
@@myaltaccountsthis I’d need to do a bit of research, but I’ve heard that the percentage damage decrease is based off of your percentage of Vitality stats. 20% Vitality would be -5%, 40% -10%, etc. (Citation needed)
so not exactly answering your question moreso advice but since you're juggernaut if you go 150 into strength you can get focus have it set to resistance this is one of the rare instances intensity is actually quite good so I recommend getting the argos armor set intensity will amplify the health you get from focus you'll probably want a pretty high amount of stuff enchanted with power the focus will take care of the defense. Unfortunately since vit builds are unfinished you'll probably never have a truly good damage output but best chance do the same accessories but swap out cernyx faulds for argos helmet. Sunken gear probably isn't going to help you too much unfortunately

Sunken Leggings - Hard - 125 Defense, 18 Attack size
How long did it take u to get sunken items 😭
@@Zeemkoplug well while I was fishing I got the Chestplate
@@Zeemkoplug and then I got the sunken Leggings in a trade
now what with the new update?
what about the sunken helmet? if it gets buffed would it be used to replace the defense accessory?
Quick note though to answer what youre saying but in the update yeah the sunken helm will provide better defense than the cernyx faulds if thats the defense accessory youre talking about
I put my build into the calculator and got 3.001, is that good? (I'm a Paladin with 100 vitality)
does this work for all builds? like warlock and conjurer
But how do i get the sphere?
imo high hp is better in pve
before i start i suck at ao
with power set i die to captain
with hp set i beat kai without cheese
this is a reliable and DEFINITELY reproducible experiment
Me who have both Sunken Armor and Sunken boots: 😈
@@ham7110 earth is stronger
@@cynicamane187 only if it can proc the bleed otherwise it should be metal
@@ham7110 with max damage i’m sure it will have no problem
is this still the same cause i tried it today and i got 1600 total hp and 39 power
could you update the site to include different focus/aura modes?
those are applied after armor's pow and defense, so it wont affect the best overall build
Is this best for paladins or can it be used for mages too?
Is there not really better thing to use other than arcsphere?
While this may be the best build in theory, it doesn't account for the fact that if you're a max power mage, you're able to one shot people before they can react, which is something not possible for a build with 47 power.
Your build is theoretically the best in a situation where you and your opponent are the same skill level and are having a fair 1v1, however that's pretty much never the case.
This. If you and your opponent are having an even matchup tactics-wise, you've already lost
Yo can you do resilience vs sailing speed
Dont have The Best armor for PvP in Arcane Odyssey For Every Build
Certain Build Have
More Attack Speed
More Attack Size
More Damage
For this For Get The Best Armor For You, U Need Know How You Build Works
My Build Is Magma WarLock
And The Best armor for this
Hard Sunken Helmet
Hard Cernyx ChestPiece
Hard Sunken Boots
Strong Ravenna Apostle Bracelets
Strong Ravenna Apostle Pauldrons
( All Using Power Gems )
With this i Get
1.734 HP
60 Attack Speed
52 Attack Size
74 Power
But this is not the perfect armor, because in itself it is perfect for a certain style, but for others it can even be "perfect"
How do you calculate minimum power?
this build is perfect for warlord and i can actually kill meta mages now
How much does each point of power increase damage (for example if you had 40 power how much would it increase damage on a blast spell)
formula is on the wiki (19 + level + power) * multipliers
@@myaltaccountsthis thanks!
I’ve got a Juggernaut build that I’ve been trying to make a viable armor set for. Does the website take into account the damage loss from Vitality? If it doesn’t, how much Power would I need to mitigate the effects of it?
no it doesnt, idk how much vitality affects power but its likely a multiplicative effect so the top builds with vit should stay the same
@@myaltaccountsthis I’d need to do a bit of research, but I’ve heard that the percentage damage decrease is based off of your percentage of Vitality stats. 20% Vitality would be -5%, 40% -10%, etc.

so not exactly answering your question moreso advice but since you're juggernaut if you go 150 into strength you can get focus have it set to resistance this is one of the rare instances intensity is actually quite good so I recommend getting the argos armor set intensity will amplify the health you get from focus you'll probably want a pretty high amount of stuff enchanted with power the focus will take care of the defense. Unfortunately since vit builds are unfinished you'll probably never have a truly good damage output but best chance do the same accessories but swap out cernyx faulds for argos helmet. Sunken gear probably isn't going to help you too much unfortunately
What if you go Calvus set enchanted with strong, isn’t that an alternative to the sunken? (Mb I meant Hard)
You risk a lot of defense, but the attack size is a good replace
How is that an alternative? They have entirely different stats besides attack size.
would the more higher multiplier mean its better?
Could replace cerynx faulds with sunken helmet?
It's not as good because they forgot to buff it for AO
my build multiplier is 3.233 cuz am a knight
FUCK he cracked my build how did you find it. legit found this all out within the first stages of the game also for the pvp builded you talked about the end get rid of the powerfull cernxy faulds and replace it with either a powerfull calvus cape or crown with sunken you already got enough defense.
you kinda sound like walter jr.
You should create a discord server.
are you a warframe player because your high tech!
2:22
W
being honest its just better to go full defense
Im juggernaut, my build can take me to 2.1k (from armor ~900 and 36 power boost)
I think they should buff vitality a little bit because for now it gave only 4 hp per point, and It also decrease your damage slightly.
The build that you shown in video is very terrify 🤣🤣 Now I will see brain-dead mage that have 2k HP and still deal insane damage with large AoE
lol i literally run this build but with intensity instead of atk speed
I got 50 power then 500 defence
high Hp builds don't really work that well when the metal mage fu**ing players spam you with 600 damage metal pulsar or explotion
they’ll be getting nerfed next update
Wait until they cast Pulsar, then run at them and try to dps them down.
If you can interrupt them with grabs, that's likely your best bet.
Great axe can fully counter pulsar lol
