We can even count Ansem final form in Kingdom hearts 1 for the buildup of each fight and feeling like a badass once defeated him and achieving your victory. Or the 13 Struggle between Axel and Roxas the battle between two best friends. And Kingdom hearts 3 the final fight with Xehanort, eons upon eons of him using others and ruining lives just for the power of Kingdom hearts made that final battle music more thrilling while fighting him. Once defeated you really do feel at peace.
Darn, they really stepped it up with the 2.5 soundtrack in comparation to the OG Kh2 sountrack because this sounds SO nice, forever the best Kingdom Hearts final boss.
I can't stop thinking how perfect this would've been for Smash, since the standard ruleset has a 7:00 timer, you'd be able to go through all the phases, with longer matches feeling more epic and dynamic as you close in all the final 3 minutes.
Bro I wanted a Darkness of the Unknown medley except whenever it reaches a specific time or stock it changes between the three phases. My only complaint about sora in smash is the music selection, that’s it.

The moment 2:18 is the moment that made me realize that the world is a place full of light and darkness, that we are under the protection of a god like entity known as the Kingdom hearts
Something tells me this theme is just too good, I must say, it is my #1 favorite in the series. It plays with my heart, specially since Xemnas in my favorite villian in the series.
The trio of Replicas, Critical Crossroad, and Dark Domination TRIED to be this, and while epic pieces and a pretty enjoyable sequence, they just don't match the sense of finality and scale this one did. THIS felt like an epic final showdown that could've capped off the series.
@@humblebeast9813 I didn't think Ansem was very hard either. His final form is insultingly easy. With Aeroga and enough mp for cures its almost impossible to lose that fight. Xemnas is more challenging on lvl1 critical mode.
Final Xemnas on standard mode is pretty easy honestly. On Critical mode however, I find him to be a fun and suitable challenge. Further proof that Critical mode is objectively the only way to play Kingdom Hearts 2.

If my sources are good, the music for KH 2.5 was composed with live instruments, which is why it sounds so good
