When I saw the new portrait of Queen Letizia, I was surprised by her presence. To me, the red cape symbolizes her passion and indomitable spirit. She is the image of a queen in the 21st century. Her beauty is enhanced by this red cape. Ordinary beauties are overshadowed by the red cape.
TMs King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain 🇪🇸 are a lovely royal couple and I would love to meet their whole Spanish royal family and I dream of meeting a lot of European royal men and a lot of royal men from around the world 🌎❤️❤️🩹
I love how both portraits show the Spanish filling the room in different ways: King Felipe dominates the room with his sheer physical presence while Queen Letizia is so beautiful, graceful, and elegant which also fills the room. Truly awesome portraits. P.S. You had to know I would comment on this one, Alexandra lol.
🙂I did, Robert, and thank you for your comment! I've always been a fan of Annie's work and I believe she did an amazing job with these two commissioned portraits. Wishing you and your family a wonderful evening and a great day tomorrow!💐🙂
I'm not sure about the spanish royal portrets. The king and the queen look stunning, but the background and the whole atmosphere are a bit dark, almost Gothic. Those relatively young monarchs should be presented in a more joyful and optimistic way. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's how I feel. Thank you for your lovely presentation (as always)❤
I prefer Felipe's portrait. He looks more natural, less retouched, more relatable. Leticia's is beautiful too, except for her face. There's too much editing of her face: no wrinkles at all, her mouth looks weird, her skin is bronzed one tad too much, with weird shades and darker patches on her chest. I wish she had a little grim or smile. She looks like a Barbie doll from a far. It does not serve her justice.
I love these new portraits of King Felipe IV and Queen Letizia of Spain. King Wilhelm Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands are at the Erasmus Prize in Amsterdam. Maxims had on a teal dress with purple, yellow, pink, and red details. This is a hideous dress, The colors look terrible, tassles and feathers are too kitschy, and looked like something that Maria Teresa would wear. Typing of Maria Teresa she held an audience in Colmar-berg, She had this velvet blouse and wide leg pants with pointy toe heels. The color look great but the styling is way off, the blouse looked like a poncho and the wide leg pants made her legs bigger. The shoes are not helping her either.
I love the portrait of King Felipe and Queen Letizia, they look very royal! and guapisimos!

Hi, Polly, Happy Tuesday! I hope all is well with you. 🙂💐
Regarding The Grand Duchess, I must say that I do like the color; it suits her.
Queen Letizia looks lustful and unbecoming. Why can’t she dress more decent and Catholic conservative like the Princess of Wales.
