It's the last of the 6.5L Diesel V8 (from 1993 to 2002 in the Chevrolet/GMC Van line up), not the 6.2L as it was discontinued in 1992.

I have a school bus like that at my school
I thought it was the ugliest bus. But now that i look at it for a while, it looks pretty nice.
That bus was an old Crusader Mall 16, seems that bus is too small for lots of kids and it is now retired.
I believe it's a Type B School Bus.
