  • It's Salmon Season in Puget Sound. I'll be showing you guys today step by step set up to catch Coho Salmon. I had a great time fishing and fighting with the salmon.

    Very nice job from beginning to end! One thought, use the herring head and the salmon head for a handle before you cut it off.

    I enjoyed your video! I’m curious though about your leader length from flasher to hoochie. I usually fish with a 32” leader, which is 10” shorter than yours. Conventional wisdom is 36”. Do you find that you are catching more fish with the longer leader?

      Depends what kind of salmon King’s 42-48”
      Coho 24-36”
      Pinks 30-42”
