I've been there too bro, honestly I've spent more on drugs than most people will ever make in their life. I'm trying my damnedest to kill my last two addictions, but this s*** is hard. Nicotine and alcohol are my last two. I've been days and days and weeks and months and years and got to the point of 10 Roxy's a day, and I'm not afraid to admit that because I beat it to death. I have to be honest, the first words in this song about blue pills describes five years of my life that were absolutely totally consumed, by some of the most intense pain I've ever experienced in my life I'm 37 years old now and clean off of opiates. Like got a prescription from a doctor? Blue pills eh? Roxy, Lortabs, or Vicodin(Norco)? Those all come in blue from my experience. But, usually blue pills and opioids typically means 30mg IR Roxy. I myself as a teenager started taking 10mg Norcos from my Dad's prescription bottle that he didn't use anymore, then started buying them off the street when I ran out of those... Taking about 5 at a time. Then the amount quickly went up to 10-12 at a time. They got too expensive, so I switched to 10mg Percocets, about 3 at a time... Once again the amount went up to 8-10 a time. Got too expensive, went to the blue 30mg instant release Roxy. Taking 4 of those at a time, then slowly got to 8 at a time. Once again became too expensive... Then I started buying heroin because it was so much cheaper and stronger than anything else... Started smoking the heroin off of tin foil... Then that got too expensive... Finally switched to injecting heroin with a syringe. That's when you're in the deepest depths of opioid/opiate abuse. It's SO INSANELY STRONG at that point, it's almost like a different drug. The cycle continues with heroin as well... First you shoot up $15 worth of heroin... Then you need more than $15 worth. You need a $20 shot... Then a $30 shot... Etc... Life becomes nothing but finding a way to shoot up... It's all you think about... You become SOOO SICK if you don't have it... It's truly a nightmare at that point... You WANT to quit it, but you can't... It becomes a torturous PRISON. It's terrible... Then I overdosed hardcore one day... Luckily someone found me. They said I was turning blue. Ambulance came just in time to hit my with the Narcan antidote... At that point I realized that I could die and leave my friends and family with horrible sadness and guilt... So I decided to quit... Joined a Methadone out-patient program. Started taking Methadone 90mg/day for about 2 years... Then I slowly tapered off the Methadone over another 2 years. Then after 4 years I'm entirely sober from all opioids/opiates, and I'm off the Methadone! I walked out of that last day at the Methadone clinic screaming "FREEEEEEEEEEEEEDOOOOMMMM!!!" Like Mel Gibson in Braveheart lol... That was years ago now... I still abuse substances, but I'm not addicted to any of them at the moment. I am currently prescribed Klonopin, Gabapentin, a few Xanax. (I have 2 anxiety disorders, GAD and Panic Disorder) I also occasionally buy some Kratom, some psychedelics like LSD, and occasionally take some DXM. So... Yeah, I still abuse stuff... But, I'm trying to do so less and less... It's hard to cope man. But... It gets easier over time, just really slowly. Anyways... Yeah there's my wall of text. Sorry to ramble. I just like to express my experience with other people who have dealt with opioid addictions as well... Hope you are doing well too!

I spent five years on Roxy's and got to the point where I was doing 10:30 a day and still completely withdrawing I literally laid in a bed and s*** on myself for days when I quit. I will tell you that methadone absolutely helped me, I had to hack a doctor's website to figure out the damn medical schedule for withdrawing off of opiates, and once I did I use the methadone to get down to two pills a day and then I picked up methamphetamine and that was even better because now I'm staying up for two weeks. Had one of the scariest f****** experiences in my life ever I felt like I was living in groundhog Day. That s*** was scary as f*** bro. I swear to God I live the same day over and over three times. After that alcohol moved into my life, and that has been most certainly the hardest thing I've ever tried to walk away from I feel like I can't sleep without it, even though the restless legs with the opiates and all that s*** and the withdrawals and throwing up on yourself and f****** doing all that s***.. I'm trying bro I really appreciate your wall of text, it means a lot to me. I don't know anything about madchild but I love his music. An I think his addiction may stem from depression, because I feel the same way and can relate even though I dont struggle with drug addiction. His music gives me the energy I need to tackle my day and push through negative thoughts.
