Our still under warranty camper van heater is out and a Diesel heater in. This is why and how much.

  • Yes, after two camper van heater failures in less than three years we have decided enough is enough. Broken heating is incredibly disruptive so we wanted something we could fix ourselves in the future (if required of course!! Don't want to jinx it already!)

Hi Brian! Expensive, but I hope a justified decision. I've heard very good reviews about Webasto. I'm glad that now you will always have a warm "home"
    Good luck!
    Sergej

Hi Sergej, good to hear from you😀
The old heating worked the best it ever had when we were all in Spain.
It seems they don’t like bad weather😀
      Cheers, Brian and Rhona😀

Hi Brian have had the webasto fitted on machines for years, very reliable, worth the money. You both will be nice and warm in your van now

      Thank you😃
We hope so. We were probably just unlucky with the original heating, but unlucky twice is too much for me😃
      Cheers, Brian and Rhona😃

      Thanks😃
Yeah it's a lot for us as well, but our vans in storage so we can't do much work ourselves😃. I wanted it done in an approved workshop and they only fit expensive ones😃.
If I could have done it myself I think I would have fitted an Autoterm, mainly because they are fitted in Russian commercial vehicles (apparently). £500 or so I think but still half the price of the Webasto.
      Cheers, Brian and Rhona😃
