STANZIN LHASKYABS is a poet from Ladakh and a research scholar in International Politics and Area Studies. He is the author of the first English poetry book from Ladakh - “Himalayan Melodies” published in 2016. The poem - ‘Mumbai to Ladakh’ from the book is part of the syllabus of the B.A. program of the University of Delhi and B.A. English Honours of Doon University, Uttarakhand. Four poems from the book are part of the M.A. English program at the University of Ladakh. He has contributed articles in journals like Stawa, The Wire, and The Diplomat on security, foreign policy, and issues related to Ladakh. He has been a regular poetry contributor to Sheeraza journal published by J&K Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages since 2009.
